Ancient Vampire vs. Demon prince

Koyu and Cthulhu had been spending a few days at Earth in their house, Koyu wanted to go fishing for a while this night leaving Cthulhu alone in the house for now but even when the sun rose Koyu hasn't come back... What was taking him so long? He can't be in danger can he? Supernatural Tamers and Hunters were active in the area though, could it be...? Maybe he was worried for nothing...

Cthulhu immediately gets on high alert, Koyu always tells him if he'll be out for a long while , or at least calls. Lu quickly drives his way over to the ark Koy favorites and sprints his way to Koyu's favorite fishing spot.

The fishing spot was empty but Koyu's now broken fishing rod was lying on the ground, something must have happened here...

Lu's eyes begins to glow menacingly as he looks over the broken rod , teeth gritted as he investigates the scene for clues.

There were no signs of anything being dragged here, there was however multiple footprints and all of them were not Koyu's judging by the size and shape of them.

Lu summons some of his men to follow the trail as he uses his magic to scan the area once more.

The footprints did nit lead far since there was only so much soft muddy ground here. As Cthulhu used magic to scan the area a mummified finger would turn up in that search.

Lu telekinetically brings the finger over to himself and looks over it.

The finger looked old, very old... But it had some sort of power on it, it seemed to belong to an ancient and powerful vampire. Its power still lingered on it...

Lu looks it over a bit more , and a bit of relief flows into his chest , at least he knows Koyu is fighting back . He casually throws the finger into the water and teleports back to his castle . With purpose he makes his way over to the headquarters of his intelligence agents, a large domed complex where all of his spies and agents consolidate and extract information. Quickly he makes his way right to one of the many computer rooms and requests his agents bring up as much data on recent vampire movements in Chicago as they can , and too report back to him. Then he reports back to the crime scene.

There wasn't too much to go on about, but apparently younger vampires were gathering to gather somewhere or at least disappearing suddenly. As far as they knew, the numbers of vampire feeding on humans has been increasing north-west of Chicago area. Could something be at the outskirts?

Lu rubs a hand to his chin , he'll need to investigate this . With a snap he conjures up some 'street clothes' a rose pink tuxedo , with a red undershirt and white tie, in other words not street clothes at all XD. Determinedly he makes his way out of the park and hops back into his parked red dodge charger and roars off towards the Northwest of Chicago.

There was not much to go on at northwest Chicago when it was day time, the outskirts of it was some ragged area littered with large pointy rocks and further in it turned into a mountainous area.

Lu growls under his breath , worry beginning to get to him , where could he be?

Perhaps a large search party was in order or a more sneaky approach by waiting for night as that is when vampires become active.

Lu will test out the second one , though he does not like it.

Cthulhu will have to kill time for now until the day was over, the sun setting...

Lu goes to a nearby guitar store and messes around until the sun is down.

The sun goes down, with it night time soon followed and vampires started prowling the streets now. They seemed to be coming from outside of Chicago, there had to be a 'nest' entrance...

Lu makes his way to a rooftop and watches over the streets vigilantly to see if they're all coming from the same direction.

The vampires indeed came from the same direction, it was feeding time after all. He could see them follow a certain path as they came to the city.

Lu follows them keeping a tight watch on the group just in case he happens to spot Koyu in their group.

Koyu was not in the group, but eventually as Cthulhu followed the line he found a cave entrance. It was dark, since vampires don't need light...

Lu walks straight in fearlessly .

The vampires kept coming from its depths, they seemed to not care that Cthulhu was there. They only gave him a slight look and continued on with their own business, Cthulhu would reach a large hall with other few paths to take, vampires doing some mining and a throne in the back of it that was empty.
