Franky coughs slightly as he picks himself up , wet sand and salt clinging to his skin as he uses a palm tree to brace himself and wipes his eyes so he can scan the beach for the others.

The beach looked empty at first, until the water washed in another person. Their head faced away from him, cheek down on the sand, the short hair clinging to their scalp.

As the dragon crashes in the distance Franky leaps several feet into the air in surprise as the impact echoes over the forest all the way out to the beach where Franky has begun to build a small shelter for he and Elian.
