A Feral Streak

Meela came over and pet Zegrath's fur. "Will he remember what he did?" she asked.

Zegrath was still stunned.

"No" Misty replies with a shake of his head.

Meela gasped. "Misty, he's got burns." she said.

"Don't worry kid I'll patch him up soon" Misty replies with a worried look.

Zegrath started to stir but he was still in his wolf form.

Meela backed away fearfully.

Misty sighs and goes to get some bandages and healing salve.

When he comes back Zegrath was hiding under the couch whimpering.

Misty isn't sure how much longer he's gonna put up with this unending cycle.

Meela glanced towards Misty. "Maybe he's better off back at the graveyard." she said.

Zegrath heard and winced.

"Yeah maybe , but he'll go back to eating people , I won't have hat guilt on my head" He replies.

Meela glanced towards Zegrath.

Zegrath crawled out from below the couch, yelping and limping because his burns stung.

Misty grumbles and walks over to him" Zeg this has to stop"

Zegrath whimpered, he wasn't quite himself yet since it wasn't quite dawn.

Meela sighed.

Misty sighs and simply holds him close.

Zegrath licks his face a little.

Misty laughs and pets him lightly.

Zegrath's eyes become their familiar white as the sun broke the horizon.

Meela watched them.

"Okay cool you're back " he replies with a grin.

Zegrath tilted his head to the side and then his eyes widened as he tasted blood.

Misty nods "Yeah , you ate someone "

Zegrath whimpered sadly and hid under the couch.

Misty sighs "It's not your fault , the full moon was out , there was nothing you could do"

Zegrath would keep whimpering.

Misty just kneels down near him "There was nothing you could have done"

Zegrath glanced towards him, ears down. Misty knew he was ashamed of doing it.
