A Feral Streak

Zegrath had been getting to know Misty better ever since the break up for about a weak but one day he decided to take a walk at midnight when Misty was fast asleep. He walked through the woods before his feral side suddenly took over and forced him into killing someone walking in the woods, a camper. After killing them he then proceeded to feed off her body and he didn't return.

Misty is still asleep.

Meela woke him up by shaking him awake.

Misty grumbles "What ? What do you want?"

Meela growled. "Zegrath is missing in case you haven't notice you've lost your companion." she said, crossing her arms.

Misty grumbles "Zegrath is a grown ass man , it's not my job to track his movements , if he wants to go out he can go out" the wizard replies.

Meela growled. "It's 4am, he left at midnight, Misty!" she shouted at him.

"Okay and? He could be out on a walk , or something , also why are you even awake?" He replies.

Meela growled. "Nightmare, don't you think him being out for 4 hours is worrying, what if a hunter saw him?!" she exclaimed.

"How am I supposed o find him anyway? He never takes his phone anywhere" He replies as he gets up and goes to get dressed.

Meela growled. "Magic you idiot! You can summon brooms but you can't track Zegrath down?!" she did prove a point. "Plus with my nose I can easily track anyone down, my sense of smell is 100 times better than yours." she added in.

"No , no I can't because I don't know any spells like that , now I'd appreciate it if you'd stop calling me names whilst you eat my food , sleep in my bed and where clothes I bought for you" He replies bluntly.

Meela growled angrily and left his room. "We need to search for him, Misty, I have a hunch this wasn't a normal stroll for him." she said before going to get dressed herself.

"Yeah yeah I get it" Misty replies as makes his way out the house , a grumpy expression on his face , at this point he is about up to here with all this Zegrath drama.

Meela follows after him and scents that Zegrath went into the woods.

Misty doesn't know where 'the woods' are , Chicago is a large place .

Meela led him into the forest and then stopped as they could both smell something really bad - death.

"Oh god dammit he ate someone" Misty grumbles .

Meela blinked and glanced towards Misty. "I don't think this is the same Zegrath." she said, slowly stepping forward until she saw a mutilated body on the ground, half eaten. He glanced away, vomiting.

Misty simply steps over the body ,his all too familiar cold expression coming on as he calmly walks into the trees.

Meela gasped as she heard growling.

Zegrath came up from in front of her, snarling. He was in his wolf form and he looked like a Hellhound.

Misty light beams him several times.

Zegrath yelped and ran off.

Meela stood there panting fearfully.

Misty chases after him whilst pulling Meela along .

Zegrath disappeared into the darkness.

Meela gasped.
