Her gaze cast around at the fog that crept ever closer. It appears there'd be some excitement already. The droplets of water caught her attention, and a deep frown set in her expression. It was new to her, and simply could not wrap her head around why they were going up.  Elian gave a nod to the man whose name she hadn't yet bothered to discover, before making her way to the mage. "You are needed on deck," Was all she said, attempting to lower the frequency of her tone somewhat.

The world seems to warp everyone as time itself seems to be trudging along ,slowing down second after second until everybody's moving at a snails pace. Then the whole ship begins to shake,no the whole world! What's doing this? A thudding sound can be heard coming from above as the sky itself begins to crack above them. This is not the good .

(If you start with them fighting Cthulhu the stakes can't be raised and everything afterwards seem trivial)

(If you start with them fighting an elder god you can't escalate the threat, and dragon riding mayans, norse warships, and giant squids all seem trivial by comparison to the time they encountered Cthulhu. Save Cthulhu for the end mate. Have this be undead pirates or something)

(They aren't going to fight him Reg , although I may come off as a bit dim I know how basic storytelling works)

The waters around them begin to steam and slowly evaporate as from above the cracked sky a face looks down , a horrific sight of tentacles and green scaly skin, it's to golden eyes both horrifying and mesmerizing everyone, the being lifts up a green finger and smashes it into the cracked sky again , and the sea erupts into a massive storm, water spots of scalding hot seat water , massive tidal waves the through the ship to and fro. Just as the crew regains their movement a humongous wave appears before them , too big to out maneuver, to big to coast on. It seems they're pretty damn pooped right nowThe massive wave smashes into the ship and!.....(we'll be back after this ommerciql break.

Hamid wakes up with a massive head ache , and the stiff boards of the deck beneath him , as he stands up and looks around he smells to things , sea salt...and , is that mangoes ? Yeah definitely some mangoes. He quickly jogs to the edge of the ship and looks over board, sand , beach sand. "All praise to god, did we make it , are we in the west?" He mutters with a raised eyebrow as he looks back to the deck to see several other unconscious crew "Hey! wake up all of you!" He tries to yell , but his coarse and salty throat stops him .He grumbles in frustration as he shakes the rest of the unconscious crew up and growls just loud enough to here "Get up you jackasses , we've hit some kind of land."

Amos was pretty damn panicked at the wheel when that beast appeared, this was jot written in his job description! But no matter what he did, he was powerless to do anything...

Later Amos hears someone talking, he opens his eyes seeing the sky above, he stood into a sitting position and looks around...

Elian made her way back on deck just in time to witness the... well, she didn't have time to process this before she was knocked backwards, and everything faded.

There is a palm tree standing right next to the ship, it seems they've beached themselves .

The doctor who had been bellow deck the entire time sat up and looked around, wondering how the hell the fucked everything up this badly. He didn't say it like that of course such rude behavior would beneath someone of his status so he merely asked "By the Aether what on earth happened?" as he saw the entire crew laying around unconscious despite how he had been below deck last time he remembered his curiosity intensified tenfold. The mage sat up putting a hand on his wand, a well used wand that had much sentimental value to him; he had had it all through his schooling, it had the scuffs and scratches to prove it, but it still worked.

Griff stired awake rubbing his head as he opened his eyes, that experience was a new one... damnit "Wake up ladies!" He shouted louder than hamid to rouse the still sleeping crew, they needed all hands on deck right now

Francois slowly gets up rubbing his aching head , and kicks open the door of his cabin , unlike the doctor his high birth does not restrain him and as he reaches the dek he yells out in heavily accented Albinese "What in ZE FUCK happened?"

Elian jerked awake at the sudden yell, jumping up, eyes darting to see what the cause of all that was. "Hati?" She called, worried for the little monkey's health; he could have easily been thrown overboard. No such luck: the little beast darted towards her, clambouring up to perch on her shoulder. He was sodding wet and shivering, but at least he was alive.

Amos looks at his ship. oh his beautiful shop had seen better days. "Ah, my beautiful ship... What even happened... One moment everything was fine, then mass chaos! But... Is everyone alright? Is the cargo alright?" Amos questioned from the crew.

Griff went down bellow the deck of their crashed ship to check on their supplies, that was the first order of business

The Doctor had no explanation, and no orders, but he saw the shivering monkey one of his crewmate's shoulders, and waved his wand drying the poor thing

Elian was murmuring to the little monkey, and the little thing was chittering back to her. Elian glanced in surprise to the dude with the wand, eyes flicking briefly to the monkey before returning to the man, and she gave him a grateful half-smile. At least now she didn't have to worry about Hati growing ill from the cold and the wet.

"The doctor just casuaully nodded as he waited for some intruction

Hamid follows as he has to make are the cannons are in order so they don't all get blown to hell .

Francois quickly turns to Elian , worry plain on his face "Excuse me ,do you think you could climb to the crow's nest and try and survey the area for us?"

Elian gave a terse nod to the man, immediately going to do just that. She looked rather like a monkey, as she easily scaled the map of ropes and made her way to the highest point of the ship. Her eyes narrowed as she scanned the area they had found themselves in.

Well the most obvious thing is that they had crashed into an island , since Elian was from Samarka , the tropical jungle that stretched out across the islands' surface was nothing new to her, in fact she'd probably be the best at navigating it , but for the rest of the crew it would be a sweaty nightmare. Across the light blue sea she can see many more islands and way far off, only seen with the help of the crow's nest enchanted telescope, a foggy peninsular where on the edge of the beach there are some small buildings.

She took in all of this, before making her way back down to the others and stating what she had seen. She felt an odd sense of nostalgia for the tropical jungle that lay before her, despite never feeling like Samarka was truly her home. It had done nothing to help her.

Francois visibly pales at the mention of jungles "Mon dieu" he mutters "You say you saw buildings ? What did they look like? Were they relatively primitive?"

Amos had retreated to his cabin for now, he took a quick glass of wine and looked at the maps on his table...

"They were small," She said. "It was foggy, I could see little of them."

Amos's maps do not cover this area of the world , since there are only legends about what lies out here.

Francois nods, a hand to his chin "I don't know why I foolishly wanted to come along on this trip" He murmurs with a smirk "Where is mon capitan? We need to take some kind of action!"
