No Man's Land

Dan shrugs "Yeah sure whatever , get the supplies get out okay" He replies nodding as he looks over his M14 one last time.

Micheal drives them to the worst side of town

Dan isn't the type to judge someone by their income so he simply stays quiet and waits for the car to stop.

Micheal comes to a stop at some run down apartment complex

Dan flicks some stray sweaty hair from his eyes and climbs out of the car, M14 at the ready as he doe it."We're here right?" He asks just to clarify.

Micheal noded, holding his pistol as he unlocked the door, and pushed it opened

Dan follows ,covering their six along the way as they enter "Oh god this place smells like jizz ....and rotten cheese " Dan murmurs in disgust.

Katrine is cleaning the house, listening to 'Do it like a dude' at full blast on her phone and singing along, doing actions n shit.

Maria has finished with hooking up a scavenged generator to the house so they once again have power.As she walks back in she raises a brow at the song choice. "Really? Isn't that song rather old?" She asks with a smirk.

Katrine just sings at her: "Dirty dirty dirty dirty dirty dirty sucker. You think I can't get hood like you, you motherfucker."

Maria just laughs "You fight a lot better than you sing lemme tell you" She states jokingly as she checks the pantry for any food.

Micheal frowned, butt nodded "Yep" He said as he casually walked passed a metric shit ton of boxes of cocaine.

She gave a laugh, though continued humming along to the song. "Singing is good fun, though."

"It also attracts zombies " Maria replies frankly.

Micheal had not been exaggerating about his arsenal. In his closet he guy had an SKS, an Uzi, some AK variant, an old bolt action rifle, and sever old  surplus cans full of ammunition, and spare clips.

"Well Goddamn " Dan mutters as he slams the door closed behind him and locks it as he walks over to examine the stash of weapons.

Micheal puts a hand on his gun when Dan closes, and locks the door, used to a world  where you can be shot in the back by anyone for drugs or money, and remembering the glare Dan shot him earlier he asked "Why did you do that?" There was no reason to do that  they were moving these outside to the car, so the closing, and locking of the door put him on edge. As it was counterproductive, were there danger the man wouldn't  just be staring at the weapons... So there were two possibilities, it was a reflex, and a force of habit, or he was  about to try, and kill Micheal

"But at least I will die doing what I love," She said with a chuckle, though turned the volume down anyway.

So that the zombies wouldn't follow us in " Dan replies frankly as he shrugs, not really reacting to the movement. "It never hurts to be cautious right?" He states chuckling as he picks up a big box of ammo with a grunt. "You seem a little on edge but that's understandable , what with the whole world going to hell " He states with a frown.

Maria sighs as she looks out a neary window into the street outside "Yeah, I suppose so"

Micheal grabbed his SKS asking "Why did you look it? zombies, can't use door nobs anyway."

"I dunno, force of habit there" He replies as he slings the bolt action rifle loosely around his shoulder and puts the uzi in the box "I'll need you to cover me as I make my way to the car with this big ass box okay?"

"You got it." Micheal said loading his SKS

"Alrighty.....god this has all gone to absolute shit hasn't it?" He states as he swings open the door and with a yelp of surprise kicks a zombie that was standing there down the apartment level steps, where it breaks it's skull on the bottom. Dan's heart ponds as he looks down at it with wide eyes "Fuck"
