The Apex Predator

She groaned and buried her face into her arms to hide her red cheeks.

"And if you ever wanted a second showing all you have to do is ask, I won't flip out or anything" He continues , his voice taking on a husky a quieter tone as he grins , having turned the tables completely.

She peeked up at him. "Why the change of heart?"

He raises a brow, his glasses vanished , allowing his yellow orbs to lazily glance over her form, a teasing and sly grin on his face as he lies down in the doorway leaning his head on his arms, the bottom of his shirt lifting, allowing her a look at his toned abs. He's playing with her, and obviously having fun doing it . "Hmmmn? Oh ,why the change of heart you ask? I have no problem stripping down if it's just me and you, but well.... I get a little flustered when the others are around, especially with that beefcake Matt, you can understand can't you ?" His voice comes out silky and smooth, in a strange yet oddly arousing whisper. In short, he's acting like a prostitute to tease Devi,and he's doing a damn good job at it.

Devi was trapped. His gaze, his voice, the way he was fiddling with the bottom of his shirt, kept her locked in place. The only thing she was able to move were her eyes, but they were no longer under her control either; they flitted to the sliver of abs that were now visible, which was precisely where she knew he wanted her to look. She had never thought about him in any way other than a friend, and yet whatever he - this foul demon determined to make her question everything about herself - was doing had her entranced. Her mouth was suddenly bone dry, and speaking had become very difficult.

Chris raises himself up on his two hands and begins to circle her slowly on his hands his hands and knees arching his back in a way that still allows her a peek at his toned stomach,he moves slowly until he's directly behind her , his mouth  inches away from the back of her neck "What's the matter Dev, snake got your tongue?" He questions his hot breath streaking across the back of her neck.

She just follows his movements with her eyes, gaze travelling from those bright eyes to the expanse of skin showing, and gulped when he went far enough for her to no longer be able to see. Her face was no doubt completely crimson by now, the colour spreading to her entire body. His breath tickled the back of her neck, sending a shiver that rolled down her spine, and air to loose from her lips. Still, she was unable to make a sound.

He hums in approval of his work before getting up and walking back inside, leaving his glasses at the door . He's either inviting you to what will probably be the best sexual experience you'll probably ever have, or he's going in to get a sandwich.

She blinked rapidly as he just up and walked back in, and she was left a hot mess on the floor outside his apartment. It certainly wasn't what she expected would happen today. And now she had two options: go inside and something else may happen, or run away as fast as she can and live the rest of her days in a cave. The latter seemed more tempting, but she couldn't just run off after that. So she just picked herself up off the floor, and shuffled back in. She picked up his glasses too, as an after thought, lest they get broken.

Chris is eating a sandwich, a smug smile on his face as he sees her walk in.

Devi's face heated more, if that were possible, when she saw him, and just left his glasses on a table for him wordlessly. "I-" She cleared her throat, once she had found her voice again. "I really hate you right now."

"You were the one who wanted to start flirting , I had to get my shots in too...I just happen to be a lot better at it "He replies smugly, his voice still in the silky smooth tone it was in before.

It took a moment for her voice to work again, once he used that tone again. "I've had zero practice."

"Considering the way that earlier dialogue was going I suggest you be more specific, lest I get the wrong idea hon" He replies as he pockets his glasses and gets up beginning to walk in her direction.

"I think you already did..." She murmured, taking a teeny tiny step backwards as he approached.

Chris simply passes her by and plops down on the couch and turns on the T.V "I'd say I'm sorry but that'd be lying" He states bluntly.

"Meanie," She responded, turning when he passed. "I don't like you using your sexy against me."

He raises a brow at that "Your eyes were saying otherwise in the hall"he says smugly, the same teasing grin on his face.

She hugged herself, chewing on her lips. She was mortified. She had never been more so, and will never be more so again.

"Like I said it's nothing to be ashamed of ,if anything I should be ashamed of messing with a poor girl like yourself" He replies .

"I'm not just a poor girl," She retorted, rather pathetically.

"Of course not, you're charming, and funny , and kind, and didn't deserve that in the least He replies as he switches through the channels, all of which are playing movie sex scenes.

"I stand by when I said I hated you," She responded quietly, looking literally anywhere else but at him and the TV.

"Why are you still here then?" He asks frankly as continues flipping through channels until he hits the news , which just so happens to be talking about a sex scandal.

"You want me to go?" She asked absently.
