Angel Raid

"Got it, remember if you tell them what we know, they'll know you talked, and they'll kill you" Matthew took the piece of paper and inspected it before releasing the demon. " Get out of here" he said " sorry i killed your friends"

The imp once released scurried away as fast as it could to the outside world, the other angels were ready to leave though.

"Can you guys handle reporting back? I want to look into this" matthew asked the group of angels

Bethor shrugged and then they walked out without him, Matthew was going to be alone for this one as they went to do the reports.

Matthew took out his phone and dialed the number of the paper. As he did he took out the wallet of one of the guys who looked like a low ranked thug, someone  who the big boss wouldn't personally know so he'd have a cover name when . He felt guilty about shooting those two imps, extremely guilty actually. There had been no reason to kill them they were no threat, and Matthew was not a cold hearted individual but in the heat of the moment... He didn't know what had made him do that, he didn't know when he had become a killer. He killed when he had to at first, and that was one thing, he was ussually facing off against someone who wanted to kill him. The imps though they were helpless, and he had murdered two of them without a second thought.

A few moments later someone answered it, a rather classy sounding male voice was heard on the other side. "Well what is it? How goes moving the souls towards Hell?" It asked and waited for a report.

"Sir the boss is dead " Matthew said through the phone. "The white pearl, sent a couple angels, we caught some alive, thought you might want to interrogate them."

The voice on the one let out a few chuckles. "Interrogate them? Have you lost the last of your wits in there? There is nothing to be interrogated about them, we know what they do already. So just kill them, off with their heads or something... I will send your report to the Lord, then he can send you a better demon to boss you around... Was there anything else?" He asked waiting for an answer.

"Well i don't know boss they keep finding our warehouses maybe they have some one on the inside." Matthew said thinking fast

A sigh can be heard from the other side and he spoke. "Why would any demon side with them is beyond me, not to mention why they would ally a demon... Besides, what would just lackeys know? Unless you are able to get any evidence on the matter I am inclined to believe the angels would know nothing about it in case any of them get caught..." He said sounding a bit frustrated.

The benefits of both were obvious so this boss is clearly an idiot "Just a thought sir, i'll call you when the package is delivered boss, considering our boss here is dead, and i don't know our contacts." Ok time for plan B"

The voice answered. "Right, just keep doing what you do, visit me in 2 days at Gleam Hotel, room 37. Is that understood?" He asked him, waiting for an answer.

"Got it" Matthew said, and as he boss hung up he began teleporting towards the angle HQ, hee even barged into the Archangel's throne room grinning like an idiot "I found their leader's location" he said

The Arch Angel looked at Matthew and spoke. "Hold it, can you be more specific than that... Whose leader, when, how and why?" The Arch Angel demanded, since Matthew was so vague and quick in his speech.

Matthew smiled, and continued "Well ma'am after tonight's raid i interrogated a spying imp to find out the big boss's name was Nuah's, and that he was staying at one of the local hotel, as well as his phone number. So I called him pretended i was one of his mooks, and our boss died in an angel attack long story short I set up a meeting two days from now at room 37 of the gleaming hotel."

The Arch Angel listened, she then spoke. "Hmmm... Well done... Getting rid of him might give us an advantage, I thoroughly believe that you deserve a promotion. What say you?" The Arch Angel asked of Matthew, since he had done a good job.

"I would gladly accept ma'am" Matthew said bowing "though if we captured and broke him, we may be able to find all his warehouses and key locations, and take them all out"

The Arch Angel nodded, she then spoke. "Indeed, that would help us to foil their plans and stop them good. Then they won't be able to draw power from this city and never take it over, I shall promote you to the rank of General. You will be given this pendant to show your new rank..." A servant comes with a small box and opens it in front of Matthew, it was a golden pendant with a strange blue symbol, probably angelic writing. It emits a strange power, boosting ones angelic abilities.

Matthew was rather surprised to be given the rank of general, he didn't know the first thing about being one, but thanked her 'y.. Yes ma'am I will do my best" He said thoroughly caught off guard, but he accepted the pendant

The Arch Angel the waves her hand to dismiss Matthew, it was time to plan their move on the demon.

Matthew left and sent a text to his friends inviting them all to a celebratory dinner. Including Acheron, Violet, Devi, and chris

Acheron got the message when he was playing videogames in his room at the inn, he looked at it and shrugged. But he was totally going, since Matthew was paying the food and such...
