Death From Above: The Jungle-dwellers

This mini rp is based off a strange dream I've had so you can thank my dreaming style for it, but I think you guys will really like it!

Read the following information first to get an idea of what the storyline, plot, and races are!

STORYLINE

It all started with a simple meteor crashing to Earth. Where it fell, a gigantic rain forest, thickly wooded jungle stood. The sight of it brought happiness to the people, but with is came bad things - horrible things! A new creature the world was un-prepared for had been released upon its landing, creatures that took to the sky and killed from above. Humanoid birds with colorful wings appeared, but the beautiful sight of their wings was sinister. Not long after the race was spotted, the human race began calling them "flying devils" and that soon became their name.

The flying devils numbers grew so much so fast they had to be got ridden of, for the safety of humanity! The flying devils lived to kill, and they often attacked humans, ripping into them with there sharp, needle-pointed teeth and devouring the hearts of their victims. The government has panicked until they sent special marines to head out into the jungle to hunt the whole population of them down. But it's not just the flying devils that roam the rain forest. Panther-like creatures with two heads they call "banshees" because they always let out blood-curdling screams before they kill, gigantic carnivorous plants that can poison and walk on two legs they call "bloody gourds", and finally lizards that can take the form of humans to get close to their victims they called "scaled demons". The selected humans are equipped with guns, ammo, and many years worth of food in storage, and are charged with the duties of ridding the world of not only the "flying devils", but the other creatures too. But will their efforts prevail or is mankind doomed to complete and utter extinction?

Races include:
~ Humans: Normal ones fear the creatures and stay in the comfort of their homes. The selected humans help hunt down the creatures and live in the jungle in tree-houses high in the canopy.
~ Flying devils: Humanoid birds possessing razor sharp beaks, night-vision, and can fly with the help their arms are wings. Feed on humans and dive down from the sky to attack. Weaknesses: Bullets, fire, and lightning
~ Banshees: Large, giant panthers big as horses possessing two heads. Always lets out bloodcurdling screams before they kill. When they sleep one head stays awake and can still operate seeing any oncoming attacks. Weaknesses: Arrows, bullets, fire, and poison
~ Bloody gourds: Large, human-sized plants that are similar to the smaller kinds in some jungles. Cannot hear or smell but can see somehow. Spit out poison and acid from the opening on top of them which can easily kill any human who it comes into contact with. Had two legs below it but is clumsy at walking. Weaknesses: Fire
~ Scaled demons: In original form appear to be human-sized lizards but they can take the form of any human being but cannot do so unless they see the one they take the shape of first. Can climb trees and has nasty, needle-sharp teeth it uses to rip flesh apart with. Weaknesses: Fire, bullets, and arrows

There is no race you can act out as other then humans that are selected to kill the creatures!

History: Born into an average family before getting married to her now deceased husband and having a son. Her husband was a soldier like her before the meteor struck the Earth and her husband was killed by a flying devil when their son was still a toddler. She was chosen to be in the force to fight the creatures because she begged to do it so she could help to avenge the love of her life.
Weapons: Flamethrower, assault rifle, sniping rifle, machine gun, pistol, matches, grenades, and sticks of dynamite.
Armor: Steel gauntlets, shoulder pads, and torso plates, leather clothing underneath steel plates, hard-toe boots.
Skills: Knowledge of explosives, very good aiming skills with or without a scope, very flexible, can outrun literally anything, and quite agile when it comes to dodging attacks.

I hope not! how tough are these creatures to put down?

The bloody gourds are the easiest because they are clumsy on their legs. Banshees are easy to detect their location because they scream when they see you and give away their location. Scaled demons are the hardest, and the others are in-between hard and easy.

no I mean in terms of the caliber round to take em down

IDK, the banshees, flying devils, and scaled demons take big bullets or the same kind to kill humans with, but the gourds are only weak to fire.

well the US army uses 5.56 which is a tiny bullet barely bigger than a .22

Whatever caliber was used to take off Fang's arm, what was it, .30 or .50, can kill the scaled demons and the flying devils, but anything bigger than that can killed the banshees

(biger than a .50?! you'd blow your own arm off trying to fire it, most snipers don't use .50's because of the weight, it's a lot to carry around)

You know what, **** it! WHATEVER CALIBER THAT CAN KILL A HUMAN CAN KILL THEM ALL!

History: Jason is a  man from an upper class ameican family with a history of both petty thievery and some more serious crimes he  was never caught for, when the who apocalypse thing started happening he was being investigated for armed robbery. So he considered himself to have dodged a bullet. he now kills monsters because he likes watching things die

Sam walked up to the forest's edge, her blonde hair rolling down her back. Ever since the death of her husband, she wanted to exact revenge against the horrible creatures that had killed him. It was around nighttime when she arrived. Her blue eyes scanned the canopy that was slowly surrounding her. She had no idea what she was walking into. She had no idea at all what creatures lurked in the shadows.

Jason Felt the pumped up as he stands at the forest edge holding his amd 65, and the rest of the team could see the excitement on his face. This was his third time. Each trip into the forest warzone satisfied his new addiction, each kill made him feel powerful, as he watched these supposed "Preditors" breathe their last because of him. Murder was the best drug in the world, he'll always be first in line to get some more; A hopeless and blood crazed addict.
