Friends or Foes?

While it was fair that there wasn't much to work with having a good imagination is one of the key components of being a successful Arcanist.

"And what is this place?" The warrior asked at him, slowly lowering the bolter

"This is the glorious Cowan empire..." Aden said easing up a bit as she lowered the bolter

Tibius just stared at the new person enter the conversation in a hostile tone, the tone of the local changing quickly thanks to Amitiel. "Hey, hey, you! Have you been possibly being invaded by strange people coming from that hole in the sky?" Tibius quickly asked while pointing upwards.

"Why yes we have, just a few moments ago... you're not with them are you?" Aden asked cautiously

Tibius shook his head. "I am not, my world got attacked by them too. I am in this world accidentally after flying in the hole, she is here accidentally here too. I never knew other places existed beyond my world though, so this is interesting to know... I want to free my world from them, but I need help, would you be willing to find the culprit with us and stop this?" Tibius asked, he can't do this alone.

She would stand there stoically, thinking in how many bolter rounds she had.

"I mean... I guess... I'm a scientist not a warrior..." Aden said to them awkwardly "But uh... sure I guess"

"What is a 'scientist' exactly?" Tibius asked, the term was foreign to him, he can only guess they don't do stuff warriors do?

"I make things..."Aden explained to him "Complex inventions and things"

Tibius just scratched his head at that. "I still have no idea what those mean but perhaps it will be useful to beat the invaders in time? I simply need help, at the same time I am helping you and your worlds so we can stop the invaders. I think we need to investigate that hole in the sky to find out where they are coming from, what do you think?" Tibius said and looks at Amitiel and then at Aden, he expects them to agree somewhat with him.
