Daniel had been counting on that, he knew his brother would never bring e a confused changed back to the fae... not that he'd ever admit that it had been part of his "plan", that would jeopardize his position as the good cop here "Well then we can  at least invite her in for dinner, she's probably starving..." He suggested.

"No," she said quite firmly, taking a step backwards. Despite talking to Daniel, she kept occasionally looking at Flynt as if worried he might use that knife again. "You promised you would take me home. I don't want to be here anymore. Everything wants to hurt me."

"I never said that. In fact I told you explicitly I couldn't take you there myself as I don't know the way. What I said was I would take you to the only person I knew who could..." Daniel spoke calmly, in such a way that must have reminded Flynt about how one must always be careful when listening to and making deals with a fae. What came next however would have probably set him a little more at ease and reminded him who his brother was "I've done all I can, and I'm offering you a seat at our table because I want to help. I promise you, no harm will come to you inside... and if I can help it no harm will come to you outside either." His tone was comforting and reassuring. Sure he had been a bit manipulative in bringing her here, but he was just trying yo help her.

She turned back to Flynt. "I want to go back. I don't like it here. Please?"

Flynt's expression stayed hard and suspicious "A no is a no, it's too dangerous to go through one of the gates. And when they inevitably torture you for information I have no doubt you'll rat us out." He replied with firm finality, this wasn't the only reason of course. He'd long since sworn to himself that he'd never take any action that sent someone there....That was a fate worse than death in some ways.

She opended her mouth to reply but quickly shut it again when she had no counter arguement. She was still very much lost and confused and piecing together her memories.

"Would you like some food?" Daniel offered her to break the silence

"What kind of food?" SHe asked.

"Kale, beans, and fake meat patties are what we have right now." Flynt replied, his eyes softening slightly as he opened the door "You coming in or what?"

"I don't know what Kale or patties are," she said hesitantly.

"They're... dubiously edible... on second thought let me  get you something people eat..." Daniel liked to occasionally tease his brother about his not eating meat, but mostly in this case Daniel was trying to show this person the human realm wasn't all bad, and as much as he loved his brother kale was just... not the way to do that...

"What like?" She asked, growing even more nervous.

"Pizza?"Daniel suggested, and looked over at Flynt, that could technically be vegetarian right?

"...Fine." Flynt replied with a begrudging smile.

"What is that?"

"PIzza's a food, it's dough layered with cheese and tomato sauce, pretty good but rather unhealthy." He replied with a reassuring look in his eye, he had gone through something similar to her return, his mind and memories jumbled. He knew how she felt, and since she wasn't a threat he had to help.

"Ok," She said hesitantly. "I will try it."

"I got it then..." Daniel said with a smile and began to motion her inside and to a comfy couch, before going to call the pizza place.

She awkwardly perched on it.

Flynt snorted a bit, he felt like a dick for it but it was just funny, a massive muscly woman perching on his couch like a gargoyle.

Daniel went about ordering a cheese pizza and a meat lovers, for  his lean build he loved fatty meats, and somehow got away with eating it on mass. before flopping onto the couch to chill without warning "Sorry to bring a woman home without warning, but she was relentless" He joked

She was probably the most out of place woman he could have chosen.

"Oh I'm sure it won't happen again." Flynt replied as he got to making some steamed broccoli on the stove.

"Oh fuck you man" Daniel laughed at what Flynt said, as he proceeded to lounge on on the couch  next to Dia

"Wow that desperate already?" Was the snarky reply as he shifted the pan on the stovetop.
