Bloody Politics

As he floated through the swarm of club patrons, he found the smell grew stronger and more tantalizing the further he walked to the back of the main room, which had little lighting and was shrouded by glittering curtains. Clearly attention was supposed to be focused elsewhere in the club, so perhaps there were guards?

Rowan was looking around carefully, his fangs had instinctively extended as the smell of blood got stronger. He kept his mouth shut to not make it so obvious, he would go deeper if he saw nothing that could prove problematic to his progress. So close...

The tantalizing, delicious scent made his fingers twitch as he grew closer, the Beast within growling for himt to keep going as he slipped through the curtains and found a plain looking door with 'V.I.P' written on it in red paint.

This was probably it, the smell came from here, behind this V.I.P door! The smell of blood was making this job harder, it made him impatient, shift his focus from the target to the blood, he had a great need to feed but would hold on to his wits just a little longer... As he proceeded to open the door and peek inside.

As soon as he cracked open the door, a wave of odors hit him, sweat, alcohol, but most importantly that sweet red nectar.

The smell of blood whaffed strongly as he opened the door, ah, he can't hold it anymore and must sate this appetite of his immediately. He would make a beeline towards the blood, he was hungry and ready to feed as the smell has tempted him long enough already. Rowan's instincts had taken total control.

He would find himself going down a shadowed and twisting hallway of stone stairs leading down down down, the smell of blood getting more and more potent as he did so.

Rowan walked down the said stairs, seeking for the sweet blood to drink upon and make this hunger go away. He needed this, he had forgotten what dangers might lurk within and so he forgot to be cautious in here.

How foolish, how naive, how unfortunate, reaching the end of the stairs he saw a red light shining out, and could hear the warm burble of conversation.

Rowan approached the area, being led here by the smell of blood, it was so sweet and inviting. But will this be the end of Rowan when he is caught red handed...? Literally, red handed, doused in the possible blood in here.

Suddenly, ripping through the air was the blood curdling shriek of a woman in pain! Snapping Rowan out of his blood trance with it's horrific intensity as it echoed loudly through the hall! For a while she kept screaming and crying, but then suddenly with a sound like a knife going through meat, it died out.

Rowan stopped in his tracks, that was horrible, he would hold his nose for now and sneak closer to eavesdrop. What was going on here..?

He could hear nothing but a few faint heartbeats and the drinking of blood.

Rowan proceeded to slowly open the door way and peek inside, that should give a better look at the situation.

Two sensations filled Rowan as his dark eyes gazed over the wide black stone chamber, complete and utter revulsion...and voracious hunger. The sight itself was the appaling part, the chamber was massive, and lit up by red lamps that perched on the walls. In the dusky lighting Rowan could see the silhouettes of unconscious bodies hanging upside down from the ceiling. Each naked except for some strange black leather gear, and each with an I.V tube pumping blood from their necks to bags standing on poles. Bags from which dozens of vampires were guzzling greedily, this wasn't just a club...this was a goddamn blood farm!

Rowan backed away a little from the door, the sight was horrible and shook him to the very core. This can't be tolerated, it was unnatural and cruel! Rowan starts to sneak out of here and report this disgusting thing to Alexander at once!

Yet as he turned to go in fear a chilling sentence echoed through the dark "Where are you going young one?"

Rowan turned his head and looked around trying to pinpoint the source of that voice, surely he hasn't been spotted just yet? He would try to back off still...

"What? You're not hungry for a meal? I could hear you coming down here you know."

Rowan decides to care not of this, he starts jogging away to get the hell out. Even if he was hungry his appetite is ruined, he doesn't want to stoop so low as to drink blood from a blood farm.

"Or you could run up there and get shot." He continued.

Rowan stopped, he wondered if that was just a bluff but... Getting shot didn't sound to appealing either, what is he supposed to do now? Is he trapped like a fish in a net?

"So be a smart little spy and come back down here." The tone in his voice was subtle but forceful.

Rowan felt nervous, he starts walking back as the voice said, guess he didn't have a choice... He comes back to the door, hesitating in entering, then slowly opens it while averting his gaze from the farm.

But he couldn't it was all he could see in the room, row after row of unconscious humans deep in sleep, slowly being drained. "You are young, the embers of your humanity still burn within, you feel contempt..disgust...fear." Standing next to the bodies in a dark colored robe of some manner was a tall slim man with light brown skin, pale yellow eyes and dark black hair slicked back. "You are too young and foolish to see the benefit to this ....cellar I've created, too short sighted...As is your master Alexander."
