Displeased Customer

Netarr was not happy with the look of his soul container, it was designed to look like a vacuum cleaner which he found stupid. He wanted something less silly looking, to fit his own sense of style so he head back to the shop where he bought it and entered, walking to the desk straight away. "Hey witch, I am not satisfied with my purchase, I want something that looks cool and fits my style, not a mini vacuum! So, I demand you exchange it..." He said placing the soul container on the counter.

The demon would walk face first into a solid wall of wards which felt like it was made of brick, prompting Cyrus to point to the "Be wary of ward" sign on the desk, and look up apathetically from his book, and looked over the demon with the mini Vac "That's the cheapest thing I've got, if you want something else you'll have to pay more, a lot more." Cyrus gave the demon fair warning about the price he would have to pay to get something more stylish, he took out the spray bottle and set it on the desk again just in case "If you're looking for a bad ass demonic sword, a good sword is a few thousand dollars before I enchant it, i'll give you store credit for the mini vac, but you better be packing if you want something like that."

Netarr held his hurt nose as he had walked into the invisible ward wall, he spoke as he listened to what the witch said. "Bullshit! What kind of establishment are you running here!? Why is everything super expensive!?" Netarr demands answers, he was becoming an angry customer.

"I don't set the price of swords, nor can I forge them." Cyrus gave him a shrugs "If I sold them for anything less than eight thousand a pop I wouldn't make money on them, swords are expensive, an enchanting them takes time. I can give you a shitty enchanted sword that will break if you hit something too hard with it,  or a Machete in exchange for the Vac, however if you want the badass sword demon vibe that shit costs money." Cyrus would continue to lecture him that people  put a lot of work and time into forging real swords, and that's why buying one to enchant was so expensive.

Netarr crumbled at what the witch said, he would have to rob a lot of people for this or steal some goods to sell. "You aren't kidding..." He thinks about his choices, he would want to kill the witch right here right now but the wards and the holy water were in the way... Then he got an idea. "Well, is there anything you want? I could get stuff for you, in exchange for a enchanted sword." Netarr said trying to negotiate with him.

Cyrus met him with such a look as to imply that he knew exactly what the demon was thinking "If you want to bring me a sword I will cut the price down to two hundred and the return of the minivac" Cyrus offered after a moment of glaring into the demon's very soul.

Netarr spoke with a small grin. "Finally, some sense, I will leave the vacuum here while I get the other item... Bye for now!" Netarr said as he started to leave, now to find a good sword... Guess he had to visit the library and use the computer there to search swords.

He finds some articles and online shops about swords... Perhaps h e should try something more specific.

He searches for ancient forgotten swords, if he can get one for free from some tomb still in pristine condition it would be splendid for him.

There was a museum in DC that had obtained an ancient ulfberht sword in remarkable condition.

Seems like he had to visit Washington and steal the sword, he should be able to obtain enough money for travel so he leaves the library and gets ready. Waiting for the night so he can kill some people for their money and souls, then he is off, next bus to Washington!

He was going to need a lot of bus tickets, and to plan out a route since he'd have to switch busses a lot, also provisions, and a way to get the sword back without people noticing.

Netarr was not used to this sort of planning, he often solved his problems with violence. Just killing and robbing people seemed easier and less costly than this...

It definitely would be easier to kill and rob people to buy a sword, or to just rob a martial arts store, than to steal an ancient heavily guarded ulfberht sword from a museum on the other side of the country.

Netarr decides to do just that, he did see a few stores in the internet search that were local, heading to one now and break in. Should be an easy task, as his arms can turn into many things.

"Welcome to Bladestorm historical sword emporium, how may I help you?" An unsuspecting human clerk asked as the demon entered the shop that had walls lined with all types of swords, arming swords, longswords, scimitars, Katanas, just about every sword the young demon could think of, all with very hefty price tags

Netarr walked in and spoke. "I am looking for a cool, threatening looking sword, what is your best offer?" He asks the clerk.

"Well a landsknecht great sword on sale for twelve thousand dollars, twenty five percent off." The young clerk said with a friendly smile on his face

"Maybe something smaller, easier to carry." Netarr told the clerk plainly.

"Perhaps a Katzbalger would be more to your liking..." He went on to suggest as he took one off a rack and offered it to him to inspect

Netarr looked at the sword, looking it thoroughly and grinned. "I'll take this one, how much is it gonna cost me?" Netarr asked the clerk, ready to make his purchase.

"Seven thousand dollars." the clerk who was probably being paid minimum wage said as he rang it up on the register.

Well Netarr can't have that now can he? Paying so much for a sword, he lifts his right arm slowly which gets coated in inky blackness and changes shape into an axe. "What was that price again?" He asks having a bloodthirsty expression on his face as he looked at the poor defenseless clerk.

"Free of charge..." the wide eyed clerk said after a moment of staring at the axe in disbelief,,, he was not getting paid enough to deal with this.

The axe then molds back into a hand and the color changes back into a healthy human arm. "Thank you for your most helpful service." Netarr says as he took the sword and left the shop, now he had to run back to the witch's shop to get it enchanted.
