The sacrifice

"Well I like it" Ezrune says

"Weeeirdo," she replied.

"It's ok" Callahan shrugged

She sighed. "So Ez tell me the romantic story of how you and this beefcake met."

"No" Ezrune said simply, perhaps the first time he had said that to her outside of her wolf form

"Why not?" She asked.

"Reasons" He said knowing it would bug her

"Aw come ooon," She said.

"I'm afraid that's classified information...." Ez said with a grin

"You're really annoying, you know that? Just tell me."

Ez's lips remained sealed until they reacheed the air dock

Lori continued bugging him. "Come on, dude, just tell me."

The airship dock  was a largege concrete yard with airships of varius types docked around a moderate sized waiting  building that had lots of chairs and little shops in it, callahan went up to the desk and got tickets for the the next flight to florida which left in an hour, while ez was busy buing beef jerky and cola

Lori grabbed the beef jerky from his hands when he bought it.

Ez bought another, he didn't mind

"So you gonna tell me?" She asked, stuffing her face with it.

"Nope" Ez said biting open the the bag and pouring it into his mouth

"But why?" She asked, pouting.

"I have my Reasons" He said to bother her

"I will not drop this," she said, growing annoyed. "Next time a close family member - which is really only my sis - is kidnapped I won't bring you on an awesome quest to save them."

"You think there will be a next time?"He asked

"Honestly I hope not bit the threat still stands," she said.

"Oh no I wanted to put my life in danger fighting evil cults more often CRUEL WORLD!" he said dramatically and resumed Stuffing his face until it was time for their flight
