"Hope I get chosen " Tomyra murmurs as she climbs up to top deck and joins the others sitting down who've been told to form a circle.

"I hope I don't have to fight MS "Popping testicles" Varius admitted to hi in a whisper

Athaedra goes up too.

"No shame in that" Airic replies with a laugh as he plops down on the top of the deck , a peaceful blue sky and bright sun shining down on them , seems they finally got out of that storm.

Varius looks pumped and is throwing fake punches at the air

Airic just smirks and shakes his head as the captain , a younger Roman man of below average height , with cruel blue eyes and a slightly hooked nose appears from the cabin "Good morning my most esteemed guests , now that the bloody storm has passed I wanted to gather you all up here for a bit of fun you know?"

Varius just waits to hear what they'll be doing

Finally, Athaedra thought.

"So , here's my little idea...I'm going to pick 8 of you to fight and we're going to have our own gladiator games right here on this little old ship , sound good?"

Varius raised a hand "Are there teams or is it free for all?" he wondered

"Every man for himself " He replies with a grin "Now who wishes to volunteer?"

Varius stood up to volunteer

The captain looks surprised at the leaner man's eagerness "Well alright then , anyone else?" He replies , and the thracian from earlier stands.

Varius just pointed at the thracian and mouthed "I'm coming for you"

The thravian doesn't speak latin , being from Thrace after all , and so just raises a brow .

Meh he'll just kill him in the match

"Now ,because you're all valuable cargo , I want no killings you hear?" The captain demands calmly as some servants bring him a chair and a goblet of wine. "Well...get to it"

Varius sas quuick to move back and surver the other's, he didn't want to get blind sided

The thracian sizes him up warily , he is much larger than the limber roman , form muscular from hours of hard work , but his stance is sloppy. He isn't a real fighter , a thug or bandit at most .

Varius wasn't really in a particular stance, he was just keeping an eye on everyone, he motioned for the Thracian to come at him

The thracian does not do that , instead he makes the smart move , and positions himself to the East of the makeshift ring , using the sun's blinding light to his advantage,
