Dark souls

(Took ya long enough! XD)

Merielle tried to dodge this attack but she moved a second too late.

The giant dragon tooth slams into her chest with a crushing blow

Merielle crumpled onto the ground. At least I'll be away from you now! she thought nastily, directed to the hollow. She closed her eyes before she disappeared and respawned back where she was before. The town was quiet.........too quiet.

Gerald Revives soon after her "Black knight got me" He explains.

Finn and vic arrives at the bonfire tower. finn waits for her to touch the bonfires so she can respawn there and has a sear on a nearby barrel like a chair

Merielle sighed deeply. "I hate hollows." she muttered.

Vic glanced at Finn before she touched the bonfires before coming back over to him. "Weren't the others here?" she asked him.

Gerald nods standing up "Something about this place seems too quiet... " he says and goes to peak out the window

Finn nods "yeah Merielle went looking for Gerald, let's get started"

Merielle nodded in agreement. "It's almost ominous, is it not?" she asked him.

Vic smiled faintly at "let's get started". "How will we get started?" she asked him, tilting her head to the side.

"You still have that scroll?" He asks casually

Gerald says frowning "we need to get out of here"

Merielle eyed him confused at first before she nodded. "Yes, lets go now." she said in response.

Vic nodded before she took out the scroll.

"Ok so the first step is to clear your mind" Finn says

Gerald walks outside cautiously

Merielle followed after him, eyes alert for anything.

Vic blinked once before she sighed. "That sounds hard, but I'll try." she said to him before she closed her eyes and breathed deeper, trying to become relaxed. Her eyes kept on fluttering while remaining closed.

"Eyes open" Finn instructs

(Do you have a plan for Merielle and Gerald?

Vic obediently opened her eyes. "Figured you'd want that." she said smirking before she tried again, this time with her eyes open and looking forward.

(Not really, unless they encounter the dragon that they tried avoiding before :/ )

"You need to find your center, your true soul, that piece of the dark that lies within you"  finn explains, "feel that within yourself and focus on it"'

(Alternatively they could meet soliare)

Vic blinked once before she kept her thoughts empty but her goal clear as day. She dug deep until finding her center. "I'm focused on it now." she told him.

(An ally who won't link up with the group but is friendly and will occasionally show up and help them)

"Excellent " finn says handing her the scroll" now read it and you will know what to do..." the scroll upon examination is written in a language entirely foreign to her, and yet with her mind clear she can understand it, her soul begins to attune itself for the spell

Vic read carefully over the scroll before she felt something she thought she'd never have, confidence.

In the open stands a knight of astora surrounded by dead hollow assassins  and gazing into the skyas he cleans off his blade




Finn seeing her demeanor has changed he asks with a beaming smile "feels good doesnt it?"

Merielle glanced around nervously.

Vic nodded, smiling. "I thought I'd never feel this way." she told him honestly.

As they approach  the knight notices them but does not look away from the sky although he does greet them in a most jovial voice "Ah, hello! You don't look Hollow, far from it! I am Solaire of Astora, an adherent of the Lord of Sunlight. Now that I am Undead, I have come to this great land, the birthplace of Lord Gwyn, to seek my very own sun!… Do you find that strange? Well, you should! No need to hide your reaction. I get that look all the time! Hah hah hah!"


Finn gives her a thumbs up "well why don't you ftry out your new spell?"

Merielle jumped in surprise as the knight spoke and acted like he was enjoying life, if that was a way she could put it as. "I'm Merielle....of Catarina." she said to him, giving him a small curtsey.

Vic looked at him. "Try it out on what?" she asked him.

"Well start with barrels to develop your aim" finn suggests" we'll make a full sorceress out of you in no time"

"A pleasure"  the knight says with a bow "what brings you to this land?"

Merielle shrugged. "Well, if you put it simply, I only came back here because of being killed by a hollow locked inside a tower." she answered him.

Vic nodded before smirking at his second response. "Merielle would protest about that." she told him.

The knight chuckles" no, no i mean what brings you to this land"

"Well she's wrong" finn says plainly

Merielle chuckled. "To learn more spells." she told him.

Vic chuckled once before a soul arrow appeared in front of her. "Finn? Is this....what I think it is?" she asked him.
