Impromptu friendship

"No...just me" It replies with a slow shake of it's head "Now pay my toll or be destroyed"

"I have no money" He said crossing his arms "So I think what i'm foing to do is knock over a tree and makeshift bridge, and then what i'm going to do when I get to my nearest stash is pay someone to build a new bridge across this river that doesn't have a bandit frog man on it"

"Or you could just let us through and we can forget this ever hapened" the Tentai offered

The frog man grumbles and steps aside "You'll pay the toll next time mortals!"

"Sure thing" Toshiro said walking passed

Take just snickers as he climbs atop the horse "Yeah we'll definitely pay it next time Gama " He agrees with a wave as he waits for Toshi to climb atop the horse.

Toshiro did so "Pleasure meeting you" he said to the creature

"Hmmn, just don't call any other mortals to build other bridges !" He replies as he holds his spear tightly and puffs on his pipe.

 "Yeah yeah sure whatever" Take replies as he snaps the reigns and the horse gallops off across the bridge "What a strange creature"

"I wonder what it's doing in this realm, Oni don't come here too often anymore..." The Tentei mused "I was bluffing by the way I have no stash of money" he replied when they were out of earshot"

Take snorts "Yeah I guessed as much , you're an outlaw after all...well both of us are now I guess" He replies with a casual shrug .

"As tends to happen when you attack a sword saint and kill their entourage" Toshiro stated with a slight smile

"He shouldn't have called me a pig" He replies "I'm more of a dog really" He admits.

"I would imagine so" Toshiro said looking at him for a moment

"Shut up "

"Only I get to call me a dog , not snobby tentai like you" He replies with a sneer "I've bet you've never even been out in the rain before have you?"

"Oh I used to wait in the rain for hours" Toshir explained with a smal smile "Rainy nights were the best nights to sneak into my father's library and take scrolls to study magic he deemed "Too advanced" The rain and thunder would cover up the sound of me on the roof and in the rafters"

"My parents are dead" He replies casually.

"Neat Mine too" Toshiro cheerfully replied

"Bet my dead dad could beat up yours"

Could your dad fire lasers that level buildings from his eyes

"Yeah" He lies through his teeth .

*cough* "Bullshit" *cough* Toshiro said with a grin honestly he kind of liked this peasant

"How would you know?" He replies mirroring the laugh "My father was a noble samurai , he could easily have shot lasers from his eyes!"
