"Entertain me daddy" Rin tried to say, though burst into giggles at the ludicrousness of the sentence.

Rook just sighed

Rin was still laughing.

So Rook may have been slightly off about the whole mud hut dwelling savages thing...just maybe. The king smirks slightly though he tries to hide his pride as the large wooden gates of the high stone walls sorroundings the palace swing open and they are escorted in by a guard armored with thick chainmail cuirasses. "So what do you think?" The teenaged monarch asks as before them lies a sprawling blue tiled courtyard leading to the entrance to a massive palace made out of some kind of adobe , a wild lion just casually walking off towards the gardens as they get off their steeds and the horses are led away.

Rin went to play with said lion.

"It's quite nice" Rook said trying to restrain rin, goddamn she was high maintenance , he wasn't stunned but he was pleasantly surprised and quite polite

"Get off me, dick, i want to see the lion!" Rin grumbled, and threw Rook to the ground to get tothe beast.

"And that's wild fey for you..." Rook said sheepishly as she ran off

"...Are you two married?"

"Not yet" was rooks response since they were courting and all

"He doesn't have the balls!" Rin called.

"Alright away you go for now..." rook sai and unsommoned her back to her home realm , this was not the time

"....Good call" The king replies as he leads them up through the extravagant hall , servants garbed in silk and gold standing at attention , gold anklets clanking as they rush to the walls.

Rin will get him for this later.

Rook follows of course unsure of their customs

Franky just oohs and ahs as they're lead up to a small private balcony where a golden stool sits ,waiting for the king. The young monarch swiftly takes a seat and turns to face his new guests "...I suppose I have forgotten to make a proper introduction , I am Mai Sakoura , first of my name , of Sogon , chief of the Mandara , the Benato , and the Kotoko , and Caliph of the south west...I'm also fifteen...so a lot of pressure really."

"It sounds like it" Rook said with a nod "Doctor James Rookwood, Representative of albion by virtue of everyone else from Albion being dead"

 "Once again I give you my greetings and send peaceful regards to your rulers, now if I may ask who is the leader of your little expedition? And can you tell me it's purpose?" He asks as he settles into his chair ,resting his log bow on the arm rest of his chair. Beams of the sun wafting in from an intricately cut window in the roof allowing gentle beams to flow down and make the gold of the simple chair shine ever brighter.

Rook had to explain how their initial leader eloped with some fine rugs, and they ever actually officially picked one but (Franky?) was as close as they had in most situations.

The king chokes down a laugh at the rug thing "Really? That one?" He replies flatly , as though distinctly unimpressed.

"I must agree with you, but he was good with the crew" Rook said joining in the chuckle

Franky grumbles a bit in the background out of embarrassment.

Rook chuckled at the look on frank's face and claps him on the shoulder "Still he's the best we have, and he beats the captain who eloped with the rugs by miles."

"Mon dieu could we not bring up him , I'd rather not think of such a horrid image in a palace so magnifique." He replies "And regardless speaking of such things is to disregard the importance of our current company.'
