Dork Diaries: Tales from a not so perfect dragon girl

"I have no idea what you are talking about. Don't you have other classes to get to?" The unconcerned professor asked and scraped his tongue along the top row of his teeth.

Sky frowned and got out, staring at the other guy at the corridor and walking to them "oi, perv, stop staring at the students like that!"

The man's eyes turned to her, he said nothing. Just stared at her with his hungry eyes.

"You..you are not human..what the hell are you.." Sky stared at the eyes of the man with rage and confusion

"I have no idea what you are talking about, and suggest you show some respect to your professors..." He finally spoke after another half a minute of staring.

She stared back before starting to back away towards her next class. Something really weird was going on there

She was probably not that surprised when another fat man with pale skin and hungry eyes walked in and headed to the front of the room to introduce himself.

Before he started talking she lifted a hand "Let me guess, Doctor something something, a healthy classroom experience begins with a healthy introduction, so let's go around the room and you can all tell us something interesting about yourself, your name, and your job..." She said, rpeating what all of them said, other students had already noticed it too... "We have heard it several times, by the same guy with diferent names"

"Get out of my classroom and don't come back next week unless you're ready to take your studies seriously." He said and pointed to the door seemingly annoyed by her interruption.

Sky got up, pissed off, and stormed out of the room. What the hell was going on in there??

No one went to stop her, on her way out of the building she passed the administration offices. Which were staffed entirely by fat pale men with hungry eyes who looked identical to each-other. It might have been comical as they went about filing papers and entering things into computers, if it weren't for the damn unsettling way the kept looking at sky, faces afixed with permanent smiles.

Sky looked at them enraged, her eyes going into a more draconic colour before she got a hold of herself, walking out of the building into the clear air. That was definetly something she wouldnt tell to Kendra. She took out her phone and texted Torin. "Going home now"

Torin texted back as she walked away from her rather strange university "Need a ride? how was class?"

"Yeah please...all the teachers are the exact same guy" She would text him as she sighed

"Well at least you know your professors aren't diversity hires" Torin jokingly texted back, and added "On my way" a moment later. While he got there as soon as he could, she spent a good twenty minutes stuck in the silent parking lot of the college, feeling disapproving and hungry eyes upon her, before Torin's black truck finally pulled in to pick her up.

Sky quuckly got inside, wanting to be far away of those guys "hey Torin, all good?"

"Yeah more or less..." Torin said as she hopped into the truck followed by what looked like the shadow of a dog which climbed into the back where another shadow of a dog yapped happily to see Specter and Sky. The necromancer had a small bandage on his arm but mostly looked ok "Mind if I hit up a drive through for food on the way home? I could go for a burger." he said seeming a bit exhausted with the day.

"Same" She smiled, pating Specter and Banshee. She then sat down and tied the safety belt "I swear, that place is bonkers.."

"Welcome to the city it's a crazy place... You sure as hell drew the short straw getting put here." Torin remarked as he pulled off into a local drive through, and chuckles "Probably not your cup of tea, but frankly I'm just glad to have a tall and inhumanly strong dragon woman on my team."

Sky would nod and smile, thankful for his words "Thanks...yeah, there is a lot of stuff I cant tell my best friend now..She is having the best time in Ivy league, and I have to suffer dozens of creepy clones who act as if nothing was weird" She explained "And hey, Im glad to have someone who actually aknowledges my presence and who is a friend"

"Ivy league? Damn I guess we know who the smart one was." Torin said although he was clearly just joking, when she brought up Peyton; Torin suggested "Just give her time, she has to acknowledge you eventually since we kind of have to all live together until we die. Now take your eyes of me and, on the menu, what do you want?" he asked with a chuckle.

"Oi fuck you, I was going to a good college too until this happened" Sky said, looking at the menu and asking a burger with fries "Yeah, tell that to her, see if she even cares"

"I know I know I'd kidding." Torin clapped her on the shoulder "Well she cares enough to abandon conversations at the mere mention of you. It's quite remarkable really."
