Loose Cannon

"I don't even have a sister heathen" She replies , dusting herself off as she hops up.

"Not to bring up theelephant here but why were you in my hedges?" he asked still upside down

"I was going to shoot you in the back" She admits.

"And you are not doing that while I am upsode down becase?..." he asked

"Because your ass is showing " She replies with a blush "And that would just be an undignified way to do if we're being frank"

"Keep my pants off around you, got it" he joked as he finally got out of the hedge

"It was a joke... nevermind, is your brother healing up ok?" James asked

"No...I shot him in the arm and my dad's flipping the fuck out , that's why I left, and what do you care? I bet you were laughing" She replies with a scowl.

"I clearly was not laughing, you were right there... I was taking the crossbow from you because it was unsafe... I have it up tairs if you want me to go get it real fast..." James said cassually

"I'll take nothing tainted by your dark magic" She snorts with a shake of her head.

"Well that's pretty racist" James commented

"I think I'm entitled to it in this particular case...you use magic , as far as I've seen magic is evil." She replies vehemently , brown eyes glaring off "I should get going to check on my brother ...watch your back , next time I won't miss." It's weird how her voice is so intimidating even though she's like the least badass person ever.

He actually flinched a bit but called after her "Hey do you want to grab a bite to eat some time?"

"...So you're not just evil , you're stupid and evil?" She replies with an unimpressed snort as she walks off.

"You heve yet to sufficiently prove i'm evil" The still very unshot James called after her

"You're whole family is evil dude "

"Not my great grandparents one is senile and the other is just cranky... My sister isn't evil either she's just an asshole." James disagreed

"Your grandma threatens people with cannibalism....regularly"

"Yeah but she's never atually done it..." James said with a shrug "Threats aren't evil they are just mean"

"Well most of your family is evil , and the others are generally unpleasant...plus you turned that one guy into a baby , which is pretty evil"

"Ok I'm not sure how you know that, but that guy was sociopath who was abusing magic to nearly kill innocent people, including my best friend." James said in his defense "It seemed like the most humane way to stop him from hurting anyone else or coming after me, and becides you're trying to kill me for doing less than him I hardly think you're one to judge"

"...Never said I was gonna kill you" She replies calmly.

"Ah so that was one of those friendly rejuvenating cross bows you repeatedly tried to shoot me with earlier" James joked

"You're nowhere near as funny as you think you are" She replies in utter deadpan.
