A Hill in the desert .

Lori grumbled that she could do that herself.

"Just go already and stop holding everything up!"

"I'm going, shut up already"

Ez walked out to take a look around the place, he seemed to change, as his eyes scanned the rubble, he was a sort of alert someone who hadn't lived out here could not be

Lori kicked a stone.

Their sorroundings are arid , dry , and windy , sand whipping against skin like a million little arrows as the burning fury of the sun slams down upon them . It's to the point that one would not be surprised if another told them that when the sun reaches it's zenith at noon , the desert would in a matter of minutes turn to glass.

"It's very atmospheric but it looks clear" Ez called to him

"You sure? There's a lot of dust out there" He replies with a raised brow , normally things tend to pop off right as he lands down anywhere as though someone really un-creative was writing all of these encounters.

"Well it looks clear" HE said emphasizing "looks"

"Don't see a damn thing huh? Not even anything in the distance?"

He checked the distance

He lookes around they cracked runway with ruined towers and a crumbling airport building in the distance, all surrounded by dust feilds and crashed airplanes as far as the eye could see, pretty typical as far as Ez was concerned "I'd keep an eye on the towers he advised

Just then from above the burring howl of several fighter jets can be heard from up in the clouds as several fighter jets streak across the sky , and strangely enough ignore them entirely. That must mean there's some bastion of life nearby , as each of the planes looked well-maintained from what little Ez and Lori could see.

"Hot."
