Meanwhile matt tried to find a menu where he could increase his stats or something.

As soon as he does so this amazing euphoric sensuous wave rushes through him , shaking him and fizzing him with this burning crackling power vibrating him down to the very bone. His skin steams as it washes over him in waves , tendrils of golden lightning streaming from his eyes , the feeling almost like someone had dropped a bomb of pure pleasure on his nervous system . And two words appear in shining gold above his head "Level Up"

Matt grins allocating any stat points to suit a ranged DPS magic build

"How'd you open your menu?" Chris acts with a raised brow as he leans on the table next to Matt and watches him configure his build in the blue magical hologram.

Meanwhile, Leo, who woke up with the memory of Chris dying could not find said Neko and was having a small breakdown. Sure he didn't look very hard, but he wasn't thinking very straight.

Chris's nose twitches a little and he looks back towards the location of their room "On second thought , I gotta go"

"You guys should probs level up" Matthew called

"Yeah yeah whatever" He completely ignores him as he heads into their room.

Leo was found pressed against the far corner of the room, long arms enveloping his knees. Snakes writhed in his stomach, slowly rising up his body to consume his heart. His chest restricted, forcing his breaths into sharp intakes. His body trembled from deep within his core at each exhale, the resulting breaths shallow and ragged. He ran a hand over his face, tingles buzzing through his fingers.

Chris wastes absolutely no time asking what's wrong , instead within two seconds Leo finds himself wrapped up tight by a pair of strong arms. Chris's breath hitches a bit at the sight , stomach almost lurching , knees shaking a bit as he holds Leo close to his chest. There's no time to ask , no time to think , only action , only the feeling of it all , the murderous visceral pain in his chest that pulses with every rattled breath. Quickly ,shaking a little as well his rough skinned finger's take hold of Leo's own , head leaning against his lovers as he strives desperately for eye contact .

Leo's breath hitched in his throat, and although his vision was blurring with tears and too little oxygen, he could recognise Chris's shape anywhere. Relived tears escaped, and his small, occasional breaths were noisy, painful gasps. They weren't enough; he was trembling uncontrollably now, and dizziness became his second companion. "Chris..." He managed out between breaths. "I can't...." another noisy gasp. "I can't... I can't breath..."

Oh fucm. Oh fuck! Chris grabs the much larger man in his arms bridal style and carries him over to the bed quickly "Baby, baby I'm here , I'm here " He exclaims as he lays him down gently and clasps his hands closely "I'm right here baby , just breath Leo , just breath okay?"

Leo buried his head in he crook of Chris' neck, wrapping his arms tightly around the Neko as if he is afraid if he let's go Chris will leave. His breathing still escaped in shallow shudders. But under Chris' guidance, they became easier to control. Gradually,  he took in deeper, slower breaths. His pulse slowed, his hands ceased tingling. Tears were now free to soak Chris' shirt."I'm sorry,I couldn't protext you,I saw you die and I couldn't protect you..."

Chris shakes his head as his arms wrapped around Leo's torso , rubbing his back soothingly as he kisses the werewolf's temple "It's fine Leo... it's fine , it's fine okay? I'm not gone anymore , I'm right here with you alright? So don't worry " He whispers gently as he pulls him as close as possible.

"You could have died," He whispered. "I don't know what I would have done."

"You don't need to " He insists "Because I am here , sitting right next to you , wrapped up in your arms "

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," He whispered. "I'm sorry."

"Baby don't you apologize like this was your fault , it's not "He replies with a firm shake of his head , though his fingers tremble as well "Wh-whoever trapped us in here... it's on them , and I won't let you be sad over their bullshit " He replies , anger beginning to boil as he holds the love of his life steady , and wipes away the tears with his thumb.

"I couldn't protect you," He replied, holding onto Chris for dear life.

"I don't care" He replies .

"I do."

"I know ,and that's why I'm in love with you , but right now I need you to stop being so fucking beautiful and perfect and just hold it together"

Matt had stepped out for a bit, he felt like with ether group he was the third wheel, may as well go get some air
