"Dude," She said, feigning surprise. "Dude i think You're the one with the telepathic powers, not me. We've been mistaken this entire time."

'Really?! Alright okay , try to freeze something right now!" He replies grin widening even more as he waits.

She got up, grabbed an ice cube from the freezer and threw it at Tay. "Bam. Got you good."

Taylor laughs aloud as the ice cube bounces off of him {Hey ....Taylor , we think she's cute} His brain tells him {As do I brain..as do I}

She sat down again. "See I am basically you. Cuter, too, yeah," She agreed.

"Okay what? You're not cuter than me , I'm adorable" He replies with a joking grin , hand to his chest as he pontificates.

"Yeah, super cute when you're talking to yourself in your mind," She said, leaning her head in her hands as she looked at him.

{You heard that?} He replies {Yes she heard us you dumbass she's professor X ...but like scottish} His brain chastises him {And hot}.

"Yeah, I'm like basically a rip off of Professor X," She said. "It's almost like some higher power who decided on this was just super unoriginal."

"I suppose that makes me ice man right?...I mean , I'm not gay so that sort of breaks the whole thing , but I can do this" He says as he flexes and with a grunt his skin turns to shining ice , up to his hair "So that's pretty similar I'd say "

"Oh shit sweet," She said. "Can I touch it?" She may as well not have asked as she was already leaning towards the icy bicep.

"Sure yeah" He replies giving her his rather arbitrary permission and flexes the ice bicep a bit with a smug grin.

Her fingers hesitated slightly just before she reached it, as if it was contagious and she'd turn into like the ice queen or something. That'd be cool actually. Her fingers brushed over the icy skin gently, trailing it right up to where it stopped at his hair. "Cool."

She can't see the blush , because his skin is ice...but it's there.

"I feel offended that you didn't acknowledge my pun," she said, not sounding offended in the least as she withdrew her hand and stopped leaning over the table in order to touch him. "It took me ages to think up one so creative, you have no idea."

"I'm sorry I uh...you were touching all on me , and I got distracted, because you were leaning over the table and I don't think I have to explain that any further" No point in lying , she can hear his brain anyway.

She gave him a thumbs up. "All good dude. I forgive you this time. Next time you won't be so lucky."

"That sounds eerily familiar " He replies with a smirk as he looks back to the burgers cooking on the grill.

"It's my revenge."

"What would you do to me?" He asks with just a hint of flirtation as he takes them off the grill and starts assembling.

"That's for me to know and you to possibly find out," She replied, leaning her head on a fist.

"I think I'm allowed to know the punishment , for something I'm definitely gonna do again" He replies as he hands her a plate with a well prepared burger on it.

"Okay fine I haven't thought of one yet," She replied. "But just know it'll be terrifying and probably painful. Also shit this looks great."

"I feel like that's a bit unfair considering you do the same thing whenever that German girl talks to you" He replies teasingly .

She took a bite out of the burger and so could not properly reply so she ended up opening her mouth to reveal all the half chewed flesh in response.
