Amok just observed the conversation, he had to stay loyal to the hive mind and just keep the child close for potential research.

"Thank you" 13 said to the captain

"It's no problem really, oh right , should introduce you all! Tammy this is 13 , and this is Amok , they're my passengers , please don't shoot them to death" He explains with a small frown "Passengers , Tammy , bestest friend in the whole wide world , used to be my spotter back in the war" He explains as he gives the hard light hologram a little noogie.

"Are they male or female?" 13 wondered as he honestly couldn't tell

"I don't know...we boned once but i was too drunk and forgot , and they won't tell me for some reason!" He replies with a slight , yet amused glare , which Tammy just waves off "Just guess"

Amok did not understand this, it was just an AI made to serve.

"You might be right" They replies with an amused smirk "After my spotter was umm well , after Tammy was shot down , by a RAR Battle Walker , I managed to copy their neural patterns , their mind onto the holonet , and used it as the base for my ship's A.I " He explains , which earns him a thankful kiss on the cheek.

Amok opened his log and started typing that in, it was interesting to say the least... He wonders if this knowledge could be of use.

"Why did he bite you with his lips?" 13 wondered, should he be worried, had it gone rogue, was it trying to suck out his bone marrow?

"W...What? No it's a kiss " He replies with a smirk.

"A what? is it dangerous?" 13 asked him

"No , it's a good thing actually , it's an actual sign of affection , unlike fracturing someone's sternum"

Amok speaks as he puts his log away. "It is what certain species do, mine doesn't. Love does not exist among us, and that is for the best as love for other species is blind, unpractical and complicated. It slows down reproduction and wastes time." Amok said, since their species always had chosen mating partners.

"The fracturing was unintentional." He said in his defense, well he supposed he did have a freindly affection for this person who had saved him. 13 decided to show this by attempting to kiss him on the cheek as he had been told was proper and not in truth super awkward

Endar flops off the table and dies promptly , and Tammy bursts into laughter.

13 looks around very confused

"No no no , you..you can't do that !" Tammy exclaims "It's reserved for close close friends and or lovers, not new friends , and especially not ones more than a decade younger than you"
