Rook pulled it out and healed his wound with magic

Hamid gasps with pain as the wood is torn out , agony wracking his side as the flesh forcibly knits itself back together , leaving naught but a long white scar along his abdomen.

"Ok you good?" Rook asks

Hamid shakes his head "Splinters."

Rook sighs "Ok bite down"

Hamid does as told with a slightly scared expression.

Rook uses magic to tear out the splinters beefore healing the wound again

"Ouch," Rin said, looking at him.

"I agree , a lot of ouch going on here" The artillery expert replies with a wry smile , eyes calm with a level of resignation as he lies back, he has seen much worse happen to men. Watched them torn to shreds by shrapnel shot , watched them impaled with meter long spliners when a wave of cannon balls hit the tree line...this is nothing.

After healing him fully Rook proceeded to chastize him "Well now i've used up some of my energy without a potion in sight" he sighed as it would take a (couple of hours?) for him  to reach full magic again, mending flesh was a lot hearder than destroying it.

"Zip it, Rook, he didn't ask for this," Rin said.

"You zip it" Was rook's best comeback

"Make me."

Rook sighs but shuts up, for now

Rin ruffled his hair. "Good boy."

Rook lightly elbow jabs her

She stepped back, dramatically clutching where he elbowed her. "Oh, the pain!" She cried. "It is too much!" And then she proceeded to pretend to faint on top of him.

Rook rolled his eyes as he caught her

She cracked her eyes open, grinning.

"So...so are you two gonna kiss or like?" He asks .

"Shut up, Hamid," Rin said without hesitation.

rook was blushing

"Really?...That would have literally been the perfect moment...alright then" He replies as slowly he stands up and gets his bearing "I think I may know where we are"

"Where's that then?" She asked, standing up again.

"I have travelled many places in my few years from Hierosolyma to Assiwa , I've seen cities up and down the Antoreian sea , and I've also met many people , storytellers , scholars, merchants who travel greater distances than I ever have , and grey whiskered sunken eyed wisemen...I've heard stories of a land of great trees, where the night is dark , and the men are darker , a savage land they call it ,plagued by disease baring bugs , traitorous terrain , and massive feral beasts of all size" He explains as he picks up a knife that must have been flung from the ship.

"Even the customs I here are strange , they hold their women in the highest esteem , strange in comparison to the lands of the north , I've heard tales of warrior queens garbed in dresses woven of gold , riding great scaled beasts....of witchdoctors and barbaric heathenry , yet also of noble kingdoms to be found if one knows where to look...I believe the name for this strange realm is Mauretan" He explains with all the verbosity of a storyteller , unsurprising for the Agrab's have a long history of poetry and the love of the spoken word. Above them the dark clouds begin to clear , allowing the beams of the sun to shine done and reveal a massive vibrant jungle , trees of strange types none of them have seen before. And behind them far in the misty distance , a great range of jet black mountains.
