Partners of Justice

Benjamin waited at a picnic table over-looking the river waiting to meet someone.

Matthew was ordered from the higher ups to meet with a new partner who was apparently a more experienced supernatural hunter. They were to meet up, investigate some fey activity, and probably be teamed up as Andrea was.

Matthew wondered why on earth they weren't meeting at HQ, but more than that he was a bit pissed at being reassigned from andrea to a new partner

Benjamin waited for Matthew to arrive. While he did so he randomly started chewing on a straw that he had.

"So you must be my new partner" MAtt said walking over to him

Benjamin glanced towards him, brushing a hand through his hair as he did so. "Well, secondary partner, I'm not replacing Andrea, I'm just here to be a partner in case she wasn't on the same mission as you." he explained simply. "Name's Benjamin, Ben for short if you prefer." he said, reaching out a hand for Matthew to shake if he wanted to.

Matthew shook his hand and asked him "Are you enhanced Benny?"

Benjamin raised a brow. "What do you mean?" he asked.

"Enhancements, do you have any?" Matt repeated

Benjamin shook his head.

"So what do you know about the mission?" Matt asked him

Benjamin smirked a bit. "Investigation. Fey activity." he said before he started walking off, starting the investigation.

Matt followed benny

Benjamin, Matthew would soon find out, didn't like being called Benny at all. Benjamin's eyes glanced around in all directions.

"Stay alert benny" Matt verbally poked at him also looking around

Benjamin glared at him. "Don't call me that." he said roughly.

"Sure thing Benny" Matt said a twinkle in his eye

Benjamin clenched a fist, irritated now.

Matt found it amusing

Benjamin stopped as he thought he heard a noise.
