Here comes a new challenger

Matt hears a knock on his door.

Matt is soon opening the door fully dressed though he just got out of bed, enhanced speed and dexterity is great

"Morning , I wanted to ask you something but you weren't answering your phone" Chris says , also fully clothed although he doesn't have super speed.

"Right, sorry I just woke up" Matthew said with a yawn "Come on in man watcha need?"

Chris does just that , plopping down on the couch "Can you teach me martial arts?"

"Depends on what you which to learn" Matt said having a seat in a chair nearby

"What ones do you know?" He replies .

"Mostly Muay thai, and various hunter martial arts and fencing styles" Matt casually explained

"Cool cool....Teach me all of them" He replies , you can't tell if he's joking or not.

"Alright." Matthew said and headed for the gym

Chris follows quickly.

Matt layed out a few training mats and said "Aight come at me bro, in the surprisingly large gym room"

Chris raises a brow but gets into a basic fighting stance , it's an effective one , but a bit sloppy , showing a past of drunken brawls and dirty fighting , not training and discipline. Chris throws a punch quickly , once again it's quick , bit sloppy.

Matthew soon has chirs being thrown and held in such a way his arm would be broken, was his body not stopped by a knee to the gut from Matthew.

"Yup, this is about what I expected would happen" Chris says with a chuckle.

"Alright, so normally you wouldn't knee the person, I didn't want to break your arm though, which is prevalent in this style" He said and began to explain how he did it, where to apply pressure fro it ect. "Bur anyway, we'l digress, let me show you how to throw a punch..." (Skip?)

They practiced for hours Matt taught him how to properly strike and kick then demonstrated how to block and counter for another  two hours before the called it a day Matthew did not even seem tired from it all and he was a capable instructor.

Chris was a fast and enthusiastic learner , doing his best to quickly adapt to Matt's instructions throughout their training session . However he was entirely exhausted by the end , the only fights he'd ever been in , aside from that one treasure hunt , have been quick . By the end he is drenched in sweat , fortunately it doesn't stink , but still.

Matt went to the fridge and tossed him a bottle of water "Have a seat, have a drink" He said to chris

Chris nods , catching the bottle and plops down in a chair "Yeesh , you don't let up do you?" He says with a laugh .

"What i was going easy on ya" Matt said flopping down on the couch with a bottle himself, he suddenly asked "Hey how's dev?"

"She's fine , she's getting two new cats with her girlfriend" He replies with a smirk , then takes a draught of water.
