Chase the Defective One!

She zigzagged through allies, hopping over walls with ease. Why can people not just leave her alone?

When she attempted to jump matt was able to grab her her leg, though it tripped them both up and he landed on top of her

She gave a gasp as her head crashed into the hard ground, and all air whooshed from her lungs when Matt landed atop her. She froze, not even attempting to get away. He'd probably be able to feel her racing heart.

Matt said what he had to say very quickly as the alley they were in was empty "I don't want to kill you, I've been harboring supernaturals myself and we're on the same side, so I want to help you fake your own death, you get to disappear, i get the credit"

She didn't believe or trust him. She just watched the white lights dancing across her vision.

"Are you ok? you hit your head pretty hard." Matthew sounded concerned

She gave him a look as if to remind him that they were in an extremely awkward position and to move his arse.

Matt grinned and jokingly asked "do you prefer to be on top?" before standing and offering her a hand up

"Neither." She ignored his hand, and heaved herself to a standing position. The world spun briefly.

"Are you alright?" Matthew asked her

She ignored him, blinking away the stars. Her eyes flicked to his. "Were you lying to me?" This time he'd be compelled to tell her the truth.

"No" Matthew said to her honestly "I was not"

"But you... you are a hunter... why do you want to help?" She asked, slowly and carefully pressing her back to the wall.

"I just explained this" Matthew pointed out

"I want to hear it again," She said softly.

"You have a recording device on you don't you?" Matthew asked, as he knew she was nearly always up to something

"No," She said honestly. "No time." Wish I did.

"My girlfriend is witch alright" He nearly whispered to her "and some of my friends are supernatural too, I joined before I knew that"

"Oh," She said simply.

"Besides you were a hunter too" Matt said to her "There may be some people I know you can hide out with..."

She didn't want to stay with other people. She just wanted to return to her little shack and avoid people for the rest of her life. "No."

"Ok it's probably best to fake your death though" Matthew suggested

"How?" She asked, head tilted slightly.

"Let's get some wizards involved this" Matthew suggested. "after that you need to keep your head down, which you'd need to do anyway but they won't be searching for you actively"

"More people?" She asked with visible dread. It wasn't just due to her complete lack of social tact; the more people involved the more dangerous it would become.
