A Dangerous Foe

Takoku's mind had been broken for as long as he could remember. He didn't know why but he enjoyed seeing others in pain and he enjoyed seeing as much blood as he could. His victims today didn't stand a chance. A young couple had decided to take a romantic hike up the mountain trail, however neither of them stood a chance against him. After he killed the woman in cold blood, slashing her head off, her partner was too scared to run as he watched his lover being brutally stabbed and cut into 5 pieces. He then was killed with a bullet to the brain. Takoku left their bodies laying on the mountains-side. Hunters had found out and called Matthew's house, this needed an investigation so the killer could be put to death.

<att wondered why he one of the youngest hunters on the forces was being  called about this but went to check it out anyway

They also asked Andrea to take a look at the mountain to investigate with Matt, however Matt wouldn't be alone, there'd be other hunters with them as well in case anything went on while they were up there.

Jinx looked at Matt. "Can I come too?!" he asked.

Matt shook his head "There will be other hunters it's too dangerous"

Jinx glared. "But it'll be dangerous for you!" he protested.

Andrea had already arrived at the scene and waited for his partner to get his arse in gear and hurry up.

"That's the job" Matt said and headed out after getting dressed, he was soon on the scene without jinx.

"Lovely of you to join us," Andrea said with a teasing smile when he finally arrived.

Jinx teleported after him anyways, he felt he would be needed here in case something went wrong.

Soon 3 other hunters came to Andrea's side, all in full uniform and carrying rifles.

Ahead of them, a gruesome sight. 2 bodies completely unrecognizable due to the fact all their limps had been chopped off including their heads. Blood was rolling down the mountain towards them.

"Well I wasn't on call, what have we got here?" Matt asked his partner as he arrived well armed and in uniform. She seemed to have been here a bit and he had just arrived

"The usual," She said, leading him closer to the scene. "Nine stab wounds, and then she was ripped apart. A bullet wound was the man's cause of death. Ballistics will narrow down the possible guns and bullets for us. It looks like it was fuelled by anger to me." She had figured that someone with a kink for other's pain would most likely not use sharp objects that would make someone die reasonably quickly.

Jinx came to Matthew's side which was pretty obvious and looked at the scene with wide eyes.

The other hunters there nodded in agreement. "There is also signs of struggle because one of them tried to crawl away due to the scratch marks in the grass." one of them stated.

"Looks like a wee bit of overkill" Matt said examining the body, he was used to the gore by now and was good with it to begin with

Andrea tugged on a dread. "Yeah. Block off the scene," She told the others. "Make sure there can be no contamination. Take pictures so then we can hurry up and get the bodies to forensics." Then she turned back to Matt. "We will follow the blood trail, clearly our perp is a bit empty upstairs... Why is that cat here?"

"Damn cat follows me everywhere, bad cat go away"  He said to jinx, because the cat is mostly a danger to himself and mat. He then followed andrea

"Alrighty..." Andrea said, before turning to follow the trail of blood their perp so kindly left for them.

Jinx frowns and walks off, but he would come back again if Matt called for him or if he saw Matt was in trouble.

The 3 other hunters nodded however one of them chose to go with them to follow the blood trail.

The blood trail led them further up the mountain to the highest peak but half-way there it stopped, it seemed either the weapon was cleaned or the blood just stopped dripping from then on, but they could easily see footprints from that part on since the ground became a little softer.

Matt raised an eyebrow at andrea "This person isn't exactly a silent criminal is he?"

(Bella remember the strength of supernaturals has been decreased, 5 hunters is a bit much for a 16 year old demon to handle)

She looked down at the footsteps, and could only laugh. "An intellect rivalled only by garden tools, this one."

Takoku's figure soon came into view, but he appeared human in his appearance, however upon closer inspection the footsteps were definitely his. He turned towards them, a wild look in his red eyes.

Matt just shot him repeatedly with his rifle

Takoku grunted as one pierced his shoulder and the other one pierced his kneecap. He crumpled onto one knee and pulled out his pistol, firing some bullets back at them.

The one hunter that accompanied Matt and Andrea took a bullet to the neck and made a gurgling sound.

(he doesn't have superhuman speed, how does he dodge the bullets?)

Andrea's breath hitched as a bullet lodged in her stomach. Shit shit shit cock balls. Her hand immediately shot down to put pressure on her new wound, as blood already began coating her clothing. Flesh wound... Nothing serious. And then in retaliation, she just raised her gun and shot the demon in the head.
