The Danger is in the Outside

Seth has been living happily at Orlock's place, all he had to do was clean and make tea sometimes so he could stay and live rather luxuriously in the sewers. Sadly Seth wanted pure human blood and he could be a bit picky as he craved for the blood of young women. So he had stretched himself as far as possible without blood until he would get close to freaking out, it was time to go outside of the sewer and find some prey on surface. So Seth got ready to leave for his little trip.

"Where are you going?" Victor asks as he sees Seth leaving.

Seth turns to face Victor, he answers. "Oh, me? I was just thinking of going outside for a while..." He said nervously scratching his head as the blood lust caused that behavior.

"Your shkift isn't over yet , and break was half an hour ago ,so you probably need blood " Victor surmises.

Seth speaks more. "And what are you going to do about it? Look, look, maybe you are right, but I gotta go..." Seth said and gave Victor a small smile as he started walking outside again.

"Oh I'm not going to stop you ,I'm going to help ,Orlock will understand" Victor states with a smirk as he takes the lead.

Seth was not sure of this, why would Victor bother to help him? "Uh... Sure... But I dunno if you will be any help since I am just gonna go feed a little... I always try to be careful... You can come if you want... Since like you I am not stopping you..." Seth explained as he followed so they can get out on the surface.

Eventually they find their way topside ,ending up in a dark alley way in Los Angeles , Victor grins , changing his eyes to look regular with the small amount of illusion magic he knows "Because whatever technique you've got for feeding , I've probably got a better one" He explains .

Seth was not sure what Victor was speaking of, he answered as they got up. "And that would be...?" Seth asked confused.

"Well you show me yours I'll show you mine " Victor replies with a chuckle as he make shis way out onto the street ,a smile on his face "Seth I lived a life of luxury up here for 70 of my 150 years , it was not by luck"

Seth shook his head a little bit and decided to just do as Victor said. "Fine, let's go to this empty street here... I know a lot of women use this path since there is a night club that way... Just stay hidden okay?" Seth told Victor as he went over to take a good position.

"No need " Victor replies "If a girl finds herself unconscious alone in some alleyway with two puncture wounds in her neck ,she'll call the hunters and they'll start cracking down ,making it harder to feed....if a girl or anyone else willingly concedes to the bite ,than there's no chance of such a result"

Seth shook his head and spoke. "Did you want to see what I do or are you gonna just stay there and critic me without even knowing what I can do?" Seth asked as he was getting grumpy.

Victor chuckles "You've got me there , go ahead do your thing" He replies as he turns into mist and fades into the back of the alley.

Seth stays put now, just leaning on the wall there until a pretty young woman comes along and from the looks of her outfit to the night club. Seth locks eyes with her and she approaches Seth and Seth approaches her, Seth keeps his eyes on her for a little while as they touch each other and slowly Seth makes his way to her neck for a bite. Once Seth was done feeding he let's go and she was unconscious, Seth places her close to the wall to recover and moves somewhere else to speak with Victor.

Victor reappears "Smooth start I'll give you that ,but it's not consistent , here lemme show you how it's really done " He replies as he leads h over to another small but classy looking night club.

Seth was not sure about actually going inside a night club, but he followed Victor even if he was a bit scared.

Victor just pats him on the shoulder as he enters and waves to a few people he knows in the club ,a few vampires , afew not. Then he zeroes in on a specific one , a woman ,tall and with voluptuous red hair , after a short talk they make their way to the back of the club and Victor has a short drink before returning to Seth "It's more consistent blood I'd you enthrall or befriend a human , I prefer a mix of both" He explains "There are about half a dozen regulars at this club who'd let me drink off of them if I asked ,how do you think I keep up this robust appearance"

Seth just observed what Victor was doing, he then spoke. "Yeah but... You are older and stronger than me... I can't enthrall people and I don't really thing that anyone would agree being my dinner..." Seth said as he had to just survive with what he had right now until he would grow in power.

"You can hypnotize can you not? It is simply a matter of training the ability " Vic replies smoothly .

Seth speaks more. "I don't know if it can be called hypnotizing really... I can't make people do what I want, it has a set way of working and it only works on women..." Seth told Victor, since Seth has been doing this for some time now.

Victor nods as he orders himself a martini "Is that so? We'll see soon enough, after all ,you've never had a teacher before have you?"

Seth does not order anything, he is not into drinking. "Well... No... No one hasn't taught me anything, my first feeding was bit of a mess and that is why I moved underground..." Seth said as he kinda felt uncomfortable and unsafe at the night club.

Victor nods,make sense "Don't worry about this place being unsafe kid , I wouldn't bring you here if it wasn't secure"

Seth was still unsure, he was not used to this place. "If you say so... But I think I will go home now, since I got what i wanted and feel better now..." Seth said ready to leave back to Orlock's place.
