Kai's Revamped

Lu , a close range fighter by preference is put on the back foot by Kai's barrage of long ranged attacks {Bloody Hell he's got me retreating ! I've got to get in real nice and close than I can use this damned sword to full effect}

Kai throws a spear of dark magic at Cthulhu in hopes it hist and makes the armor crumble.

Lu dodges and starts to draw more on the swords power , lifting one of the power restricting seals entirely . The sword crackles with emerald lightning as he brings more of it's power to bear it's blade becoming more broad and threatening ,the edges around the base of the blade becoming serrated . Lu with the new power running through him gets back to the offensive ,dashing behind Kai faster then the demon Lord can react and smashing the cost of his blade into the demon Lord's back sending him careening through a nearby wall and out into the throne room. Lu leaps after him hoping to use his advantage to finish the fight quickly.

Kai taken out by surprise gets flown through the wall to the throne room, Kai is not happy with this and in order to stop Cthulhu he summons some of the power from the castle itself and this slightly changes Kai to look more demonic as sharp claws grow on his fingers, spikes on his arms and legs, teeth more sharp and one bat like wing. He then breathes black fire at Cthulhu as he approaches.

Lu matches the flame with the green fire of his sword ,before literally cutting the fire in half. He takes no pause and swings his sword once again ,sending a wave of green flame at the demon Lord .

The green flame hits Kai, prompting a scream from him as it burned him.

Lu presses one sending wave after wave off green flame and finishing with a massive vertical slash which explodes on impact .

Kai despite being in pain picks up a brick from the wall and throws it at Cthulhu, as he dodges the vertical slash barely.

Lu shakes his head as the brick simply bounces off of him "You're stronger than this Kai , we both know that..no point in trying to deceive me otherwise"

Kai chuckles and speaks. "Oh? Wanna see...?" Kai asked mockingly as he gathered the darkness around him once more and made it into several floating spikes that would launch towards Cthulhu.

Lu's eyes widen in surprise as he dodges the majority and deflects the last one with a strike of his blade . Quickly he lifts the second seal on the sword , allowing more of it's power to come out , and once again an aura of furious green flame begins to surround him as his eyes glow with a green flame. He wastes no time to gloat in his power as he quickly pounces at Kai with an overhead swing of his demonic sword.

Kai makes a shield between them, so the blow won't connect with him but the shield will explode towards Cthulhu.

Lu simply powers through his blow cutting deep into the side of Kai's arm.

Kai screams in pain as the sword cut deeply on his arm, Kai jumped away taking some distance as he made crescent dark blades to spin at Cthulhu as he focused on getting a new better foothold.

Lu slashes his sword down and a massive wave of green flame flies forth , knocking aside the little crescents "Kai , why are you even doing this?" He asks with a frown "Just find another damnable city to lord over you twat"

Kai speaks as he prepares another attack. "Oh you really think so? Sorry, I am so in love with Chicago that I won't give her easily!" Kai said and he made shadow arrows to fly at Cthulhu.

"If you loved the city so much you wouldn't try and lord over everyone who lived there" He replies as he teleports out of the way of the arrows and continues his assault

Kai continues his own assault, of long ranged attacks. Kai tried to use the sharp darkness objects to rend the flesh off from Cthulhu's bones.

"You can only keep me at bay for so long cunt" Lu growls his eyes aflame with green light as he lifts all but one of the seals on the blade and once again his power explodes to new heights "IT'S OVER KAI, this is your last chance to stand down"He states as in the blink of an eye he's right next to kai , his flaming demonic blade at the demon lord's neck .

Kai tries to do a quick punch on Cthulhu's stomach as he got close, he was not one to give up now. "I won't! Die filthy half-breed! I am better than you!" Kai declared as he delivered the punch.

(If Kai keeps doing this I'm going to have a hard time explaining why Lu wouldn't kill him here and now , and that will stop the mini-reboot from happening )

(The problem is, that he is cornered and he is not going to give his last chance to forward his plans. Strip him of his power and leave him in a miserable state while making fun of it that he is now useless.)

"No...you really aren't" Lu replies as he catches the punch and with the swords help begins to drain Kai's power , until Kai is nothing but a pitiful human.

Kai was terrified at what Cthulhu did, he could feel his powers disappear and soon he fell on his hands and knees as he was human once more. "What have you done!? My power... My power... Give it back!" Kai demanded and tried to grab the sword for himself.

The sword burns his hands when he touches it "No...you've shown that you aren't worthy of it anymore , I gave you multiple chances to concede and negotiate terms , and you refused me every time in your complete idiocy , now you are a little human alone , with no power, in hell"He replies as he turns and leaves .
