Working up the courage

It was a weak after getting the demon in him, and lucain had just finished feeding it as per the deal but his mind seemed to wander , out of the blue he asked the demon as they headed back for their mountain layer "Should i ask violet out?"

The demon was confused by the question, the demon wondered and asked. "Hm? What do you mean by that? You have been acting strange today... But I sense no curse... What is with you?" The demon asked as it did not understand.

"You know ask her one a date" Lucian elaborated to the demon adding "I've been trying to work up the courage"

The demon sighted and spoke. "I see... You humans have strange rituals when it comes to staying with one another, I guess you can just waltz to her and speak the words. Don't worry, I work as backup..." The demon said kinda giving Lucian his blessing on the subject.

Violet was currently help do some cooking since Lucian wasn't there at the moment.

Lucian entered the kitchen with a firm confident resolve... which instantlly wilted when he saw Vi, and stammered "I uh...uh.. hi"

The demon spoke in Lucian's head. "What a weak greeting..." It commented to him.

"Shut up" He said in his head to the demon before "I'm fine!" He accidentally shouted as his faltering nerves made him lose control of his voice, embarrassed, he asked Vi "So uh.... do you want to go out some time?"

"Well i am possessed but that's easier than this" Lucian said fidgeting nervously

The demon spoke. "You got it in the bag now kid, now finish the deal..." The demon said to him, he then waited for Lucian to act.

"Excellent, how's a movie?" He asked Violet "Not horror right?"

"Sure, how about tomorrow? I'll get tickets" Lucian suggested, he seemed to relax quite a bit

(Technically any movie genre expect horror)

Violet nodded and turned the oven off. "Wanna try one?" she asked, pointing to the chocolate chip muffins.

"Absolutely, chocolate chip is my favorite" Lucian said cheerfully taking one and biting into it

""It's good vi" Lucian said as he ate and asked the demon "What do you think?"

The demon answered with a question. "About what exactly? I wasn't listening..." The demon wondered and waited for an explanation.

"The muffin" He asid in his head and smiled at vi "I bet crow would like these." he commented

Crow was on the bottom floor of the crypt reading in his study
