Lucian Possessed

It was about a month after the military arrived to clean things up, and Lucian had been laying low in crow's crypt having taken up the ghouls offer to be his magical assistant along with violet. Well he had taken the patrol duties to make sure nothing was getting to close to the entrance that day, he was in a pretty good mood, and humming to himself as he patrolled.

Unfortunately for him, a slight rift had opened close by leading to Hell. Before the anomaly could close up a non-physical demon spewed out to Earth, there was not much it could do in this form so it needed a vessel which it went to look for. It sensed Lucian's presence and approached so Lucian would not notice, it then charged at him as the demon wanted Lucian's body for itself so it was time to dive in.

"NYAH!" Lucian exclaimed in surprise as he sensed the demon charging him, and fell over as he threw a magic fireball at it

The demon dodged the magic fireball but it still had its course towards Lucian to possess him, he only needed to touch him to sink in.

Lucian spammed fireballs at it

The demon dodged every single one, though it was kinda time wasting as he wanted a body and he wanted it now. The demon tried to get close to Lucian, he was not gonna give up him so easily.

Lucian really knew no other offensive spells

The demon quickly maneuvered around until it got on Lucian's side and quickly extended its arm at him to enter his body.

Lucian made a sound something like"Myeah " as he was possesed

The demon felt home being part of Lucian, he started fighting for control now to make Lucian obey his commands but at the same time Lucian was infused with great demonic powers.

Lucian was used to dealing with spirits not demons but put up a good fight against it anyway, his will was considerable, and difficult for the demon to influence.

The demon was not gonna give up and gave a good fight as well, this was his only way to have a physical form on Earth so he was not willing to give it up so easily. Seems like they were almost at a stalemate... "Stop resisting! I am superior to you and you will do as I say!" The demon growled to him in a menacing voice inside Lucian's head as the fight went on.

Lucian still did not give in "Is that the best you've got?" He asked; at a stalemate neither would be able to do much, they'd need to compromise for either to get any control over the body

Well a few more minutes passed and the demon came to the conclusion that he was not going to gain superior control over him so he let go a bit but made sure that he was holding on enough that Lucian was unable to remove him. "Alright, alright... This isn't going anywhere, how about we make a deal?" The demon asked Lucian, he was trying another tactic.

"What sort of deal?" lucian asked the demon

The demon the spoke. "I will give you my power in exchange that you let me feed on a few souls, what say you or are the terms... Bad...?" The demon asked since he was a bit new to dealing with mortals like this, he only had heard what the people on Earth might want and the promise of power seemed to always work according to others since some people sold their own souls for that.

Lucian knew never to strike a bargain with spirits without reaching a quantitative measurement for the bargain "No that does not sound good"

The demon used a few minutes to think and spoke more. "Hmmm... I will give you my full power if you allow me to sometimes have control...?" The demon asked him, giving him a slightly different bargain.

"Here's my offer, I keep control of the body, and get half of your power, and you get a soul a week" Lucian counter offered

The demon used a few minutes to think and spoke. "3 souls a week, then we can call it a deal." The demon bartered a little bit more, it was a hard bargain...

"Three but i pick them." Lucian finally said

The demon then spoke more. "Fine, then we have ourselves a deal. I'm gonna stay here in here, your body is cozy." The demon waited for Lucian to agree on the deal before it would relax.

Lucian nodded binding the demon to him with incantatinos as he stood up

The demon relaxed and hoped that this deal was going to be beneficial to it, since it wanted souls to grow more in power now that it was actually able to traverse to Earth. "I hope that your company will be amusing, or else I will hate you for the rest of your miserable life." The demon said as it looked at the world through Lucian's eyes.

"Ah, but you can't do shit about it" Lucian pointed out a the demon in his head "Mostly i do magic though"
