Gaining Power

Lu flips the blade into a reverse grip and as he ducks under Kai's strike slashes him across the ribs.

Kai tries to dodge so they sword leaves a small bleeding wound on his chest and ruining his clothes slightly, Kai tries to disarms Cthulhu quickly.

The sword however, now bound to him until death,only flies back into his hand.

Kai raises an eyebrow at that but if he can't disarm him it is best to destroy both of his arms so Kai grabs Cthulhu by his right arm and tries to break it.

Lu decides that having an arm broken isn't good for his health and so using hi other arm shoots Kai in the jaw with an enchanted bullet.

As Cthulhu is about to shoot Kai takes some distance from him and speaks. "You know, you having such weapons isn't fair..." Kai said to him with an indifferent tone.

"Yeah well neither is sucking the souls out of random unsuspecting people dickhead " He replies as he aims it directly at the other demon.

Kai runs at him but vary of the gun, he speaks. "Oh? Is that why you are pissed? Why would a half-breed care...? Is it because you are an incomplete demon you feel pity for humans?" Kai said and tries to kick the gun into the air from his hand.

"No , it's because I generally don't like people being cunts to anyone" He replies as he teleports behind Kai and shoots the demon through the back of his knee.

The shot hits causing Kai to fall down on his knees and hands grunting slightly at the pain, blood dripping to the floor. He slowly stood up and spoke. "Oh? Apparently you don't seem to understand the basic nature of demons then... Are you incapable of it since you are only an abomination? These humans are weak and useless like this, they would be much more of use as souls that would power me up... Power is what truly matters after all." Kai's wound was healing quite nicely, he dashed at Cthulhu trying to kick him in the jaw with his other knee.

"Oh you really are a tunt aren't you ? Is that really what you think? That what they drilled into your skull back in hell? That you're some special little snowflake and no one deserves to live but you?" Lu replies as he catches the kick and throws Kai onto his back with a dragon screw.

Kai grunts at the sudden throw, he jumps back up. "Well... Not really... But you are pretty much a nobody without power, I am taking my fair share of it with the use of these humans! They aren't good for anything else after all..." Kai came at Cthulhu with a few punches and kicks, he also had grabbed a pointy piece of the wall and tries to blind him with him.

"A nobody right? Oh right I suppose I haven't even introduced myself right? Where are my manners, I'm getting more American by the day, Cthulhu , of the line Fiaron, son of the demon lord of Wrath Chernabog" He replies grinning in sinister fashion "And this sword I'm wielding? Sword of Sin, ancient demonic blade that can turn any mortal into a killing machine, you may have heard of it" He laughs as he dodges the punches and kicks by teleporting in between the blows.

Kai backed off when Cthulhu teleported out of the way, he spoke. "Tsk... Are you telling me that you are a son of a Demon Lord like that? Don't make me laugh, why would a Demon Lord make children with a human? And that sword... It is said there is no one that can wield it, then why are you...?" Kai questioned him, he had sensed the power in the sword but not once has Cthulhu used its power in this fight.

"Oh that last one's an easy one, because I broke it's will" He replies cheerily, he's been holding back in an attempt to gauge this guy's power but the dude seems pretty basic, so he might as well now "As for the first , I have no idea, he doesn't call that often"He states as he begins drawing from the blades power.

Kai listened to what Cthulhu said, he surely did not like that but then he sensed something bad about him. Kai proceeded to slam his fist into the floor causing huge cracks to appear on the floor and walls. "If I can't gain souls the clean way, I will make this entire building collapse, killing everyone inside! Then all I need to do is gather the spoils in the Spirit Realm." The entire building was crumpling as it grew unstable due to that.

"You could do that , or I could decapitate you before your fist hits the ground again" Lu threatens calmly .

Kai chuckled and spoke. "Oh? I guess I will be waiting for the building collapse on its own weight then... Won't take long I assure you, how many do you think will get out before that?" Kai said and just stood there as the building was indeed not going to last long.

"Alot of people, I mean people are getting out as we speak " He replies smirking as people can be visibly seen escaping the building into the streets below.

Kai used the time to speed towards Cthulhu to punch him out of the window.

The punch does indeed throw Lu out of the window and he lands on the street with a growl, wiping a small trickle of blood from his mouth,luckily it seems the vast majority of the buildings occupants have made it out.

The building started to crumple for good, it was pretty much done for. Kai had vanished back to Hell for now, he had to take another approach to this if he were to gain more power.

Lu goes to a Subway and buys a 6 inch toasted flatbread with turkey melted cheese, lettuce, and cucumber slices.

(That is definitely what I did not have in mind, guess he just doesn't care...)

(It's not that , he's just assuming Kai will just piss off now)
