Matthew's Angelic Errand

After a few days since Matthew finished his training in the White Pearl's Order headquarters he has been given his first mission, it was send to him in a letter. The letter states: There seems to have been disturbances in an unused boat at the harbor, go check it out. We think it might be demons hiding in there, if so kill them, if not gather evidence. Good luck to you. Now all Matthew had to do was do as the letter said and return to the mansion to submit his report.

Matthew still had no idea that the white pearl were imperialist soul stealing Bastards, here only to protect the interest of heaven, and spite a rival group of imperialist soul stealing bastards who see humans as walking diesel fuel, so when he received the letter he was rather pumped for his first mission. When he recieved the letter at home he immediately gut dressed in a Tshirt, and Jeans, and headed out the door "Bye dad, i've got to start a report for school at the library" he said as he headed out the door in the direction of the docks.

The docks were mostly quiet, just a few people strolling about moving cargo boxes but none of them had business close to the unused boat there. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Matthew was alert anyway but tried to look casual as he made his way to the unused boat

As Matthew walked close to the boat, a huge shadow was seen go under the water.

Matthew could already tell there was going to be a sea monster or something. He got ready to teleport away at a moment's notice as he climbed onto the boat, should things go south

Inside the boat, was cages filled with souls but no demons on sight.

Matthew takes a couple pics of the soul cages with his phone before looking around the boat some more

There was a humanoid demon in the captain's cabin, it was looking at a map on the table. It was wearing silver armor without a helmet showing off its pale skin, reptilian eyes and a few curved horns.

Matthew intending to catch the demon by surprise formed a grenade launcher in his hands, kicked down the door and fired it at the captain

The demon turned around when the door was knocked open, as the grenade launcher hit him he staggered a bit but the cabin didn't look so good anymore. "You little rat..." He said as he slowly approached taking a one handed battle axe and trying to swing it at Matthew.

MAtthew began backing up and unloading the launcher at the demon's face moving quickly to stay out of range

The demon staggered more as Mattjew kept shooting at him with the launcher, the boat itself was starting to look bad as he did so. But the demon continued its pursuit over Matthew. "Sorry kid, but rats like you can only get one thing around here, death. Your puny attacks don't even tickle me..." He said and took another swing at Matthew.

Matthew dodged the attack, and formed his long sword as he danced out of range and asked "Well, Never met a demon like you before" He gave a vicious grin, as he took up a mobile stance

The demon ran at Matthew with full speed and swung his axe at him, multiple times in fact.

Matthew ducked forward and to the left of the demon so he could get in a good stab between the ribs and hip on the demon's side

Matthew only succeeded in cracking the armor, the demon makes a side swipe with his axe.

Matthew blocked the axe with his blade, which knocked the young angel back and threw him to the ground

The demon the jumped his axe high, trying to plunge the blade deep into Matthew's chest.

Matthew rolled aside and threw a formed back egg at the demon's eyes

The demon was now blinded, he was moving a bit erratically. "You little... I will tie you into an anchor and drop it into the sea!" He said a she swung his axe in places.

(Not really...)

Matthew rolled to his feet, and stabbed the demon again in the cracked armor at his side

The sword went through, blood started to flow down Matthew's blade and the demon grunted.
