The arcane lodge

Kanda frowned. "Neither (hiccup) do I!" he said as he continued reading, sometimes hiccupping as well.

"I think you for your sacrifice" Finn also went back to his book

Kanda glared at him and kept hiccupping. "Take the spell (hiccup) off me right (hiccup) now." he demanded.

"I haven't made  spell to take it off yet" finn smiled apologetically

Kanda glared and hiccupped. "You WHAT?!" he shouted.

"It should wear off in a day or two..." Finn said standing up and backing away

Finn soon found himself surrounded by walls of water. "I hope you (hiccup) get wet!" Kanda said.

"I do to , my shower's all messed up at home, i took in an orphan grim stray" Finn explained

Kanda sighed and then the water soaked Finn to the skin.

Soon another fellow mage stepped in, it was the Summoner Khem Serpentmaw from a wealthy family. He just stood there holding a book in his hands as he saw Kanda having a hiccup and Finn being wet, he wondered what had happened.

Kanda glanced at him and hiccupped again.

Finn was also from a rather wealthy and prestigious family, not to mention the merits of his own research. So he waved casually at Khem, not intimidated by his status, and not caring about his own wetness. he called in an acolyte to clean up

Kanda didn't bother to get rid of the water. He waved casually at Khem as well.

Khem didn't bother with them, he continued to walk a bookshelf and put the book on its rightful place and started looking for another book.

Phineas used magic to dry out his own book before resuming his reading

Kari wondered in, munching on a slice of cold pizza. A half empty packet of biscuits was clutched firmly in her other fist, to prevent anyone taking it from her. Though, if someone were to try, they'd lose their fingers and maybe even their hand. She had been eating constantly since arriving, the hoards of food almost like a dream come true to her. No more catching dirty little mice anymore. She tilted her head slightly to the side, curious as to why Finn was all wet when they were on the inside. The other mage's loud hiccups made her jump, and freeze like a deer trapped in headlights. She had been very wary around the other members, and had avoided them whenever possible.

finn steeped in front of the clearly snoody mage and offered a hand to shake 'finn mc'coy, I don't believe we've met'  he wasnt about to be ignored

Khem looked at Finn's hand a moment, he then shook it and spoke his name in a bored tone. "Khem Serpentmaw, and no, we haven't really... Is there a reason you come to me like this?" Khem asked him, remembering his name and realizing who he was speaking to but didn't say anything about it.

"Well it is just a friendly greeting, and that's only civil, no? Besides a lodge is a singe team meant to work together." Finn pointed out to khem cassually

Kanda smiled. "I'm Kanda, Water mage." he introduced himself casually.

Khem nodded and spoke. "If you say so... My problem is all the others are too noisy, I seem to make better progress alone." Khem said as he shuffled through the pages of one book he picked from the shelf. He noticed the other mage introducing themselves, he then quickly said this to him. "I believe that the correct term you are looking for is 'Hydromancer'..."

Kanda chuckled. "Yeah, that too." he said awkwardly scratching himself in the back of the head. He then went back to reading his book.

Loud crunching could be heard as Kari had started finishing the cookies. She was perched on a desk in a crouched position, relaxed but ready to flee if need be. The young stray had made quite a mess anywhere she had ended up, be it from knocking things over in her haste to escape a certain area, or simply she did it on purpose. It wasn't out of spite, of course, simply because she isn't aware of the unspoken rule of keeping things tidy and being careful to not break what isn't yours.

Kanda heard it and backed off a bit.

fortunately most things in the lodge repaired themselves because magic and stuff

"hey could you be more careful not to knock stuff over?" finn asked the satray calmly
