Powers: Sound manipulation, enhanced hearing
Skills: Hand to hand combat, light on her feet, sneaking.
Likes: Having all the attention, equally confident people, being the best
Dislikes: Failure, embarrassment, not having attention, being underestimated, being treated like a child, losing.
Appearance: Long, straight black hair that has only ever been cut once, pale skin, straight nose, green grey eyes, lips are on the fuller side. She has a somewhat straight body type with a little curves.
Background: Tara was raised in a convent in Sacramento, after being left in their care by her mother for she had no where else to turn; both were taken in by the nuns, but despite their assistance and prayers, her mother died of a terminal illness. Despite this, the nuns raised Tara from infancy alongside several other children they had taken in in order to convert them into the church. Except some children exhibited… strange behaviour, to say the least; Tara was included in this. She was born blind. Initially, she learnt how to mimic a type of echolocation before she could even speak, allowing her to build a picture of her surroundings in her mind. Unfortunately, this disability resulted in her being more sheltered than the rest of the children, despite being the most work of all the children due to her habit of playing tricks on them with the sound related abilities she possessed. As she grew older, she began sneaking out in search of more adventure, her thirst for excitement having grown too wild to be quenched by simple tricks on nuns and priests. She found herself in gangs, whose method of entertainment was street fighting and the like. Despite her first few attempts at fighting getting her ass handed to her, she was hooked; she would not give up and was determined to prove herself just as good as the rest of the fighters in the gangs. With help from her powers, letting her “see” their movements and even fight back with them, she developed quite the knack for it all and became one of the best. Her tactics even became more violent, including setting people on fire by vibrating their molecules. Her blindness of course helped in a way, for people initially underestimated her, but she soon showed them and very soon no one underestimated her. Of course, all good things must soon come to an end. For eventually her convent was raided by the Praetorium, who gained word of the kids they had taken in and the strange abilities they exhibited. Despite the nun’s efforts, all who showed powers were taken, Tara included, but not without a fight; she was not taken easily.
