Name: Castigor
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Home region: North America
Powers: Electrokinesis, enhanced reflexes and coordination
Skills: Hand to hand combat, use of "Advanced Pacification" Weaponry, working with praetorian technology, Marksmanship, knowledge of security checkpoints and procedures, observation, intimidation
Likes: Overcoming obstacles, using force, Training, breakfast (the most important meal of the day), his former squad mates, Darts, pool, victory, power
Dislikes: Crowds, excuses, beating people too weak to fight back, half assing, being used, losing, feeling guilty
Appearance: Six foot four, broad shoulders, ripped body, light skin, short well maintained brown hair, blue eyes but otherwise chiseled yet intimidating face with a scar running down one cheek.
Background: Castigor as he was named by the praetorians in his tenth year. Those who show signs of their powers as babies and are torn from their mother's arms for the Praetorian security forces are not given a name right away; one is chosen that fits their personality in their tenth year until then they have a number. Recruit 752 as he was known at the time was always a direct and brutish cadet, all of the cadets were trained for combat, but he was the one who loved it the most, beating his opponents, even breaking them made him feel accomplished, like he was worth something, and this would extend to all areas of competition; his masters loved winners, and they punished losers; so he determined he would win everything. Of course he didn't win everything no one could, he failed at nearly every task that required subtlety and so he was given the name "Castigor" a name for a brute, and was assigned to a "pacification" team, where his training would continue and he would even go on field deployments at age fourteen, dealing with common dissidents. In some ways he loved it, feeling powerful and superior to those he beat down; rioters, striking workers, and the like, but he always wondered if they deserved this, and deep within him he felt a gnawing guilt. He didn't flee the Praetorian army because of guilt though, he fled it because he realized he would never be more than a pawn to lesser men, and the thought did not satisfy him.
