13 struggles to thinkn of what the opposite of that could be

"I...Oh my gosh" Tammy murmurs as they see the strain in his phase "Who raised you kid?"

"Mostly professor killbot" 13 said, he really looked up to proffessor killbot

"And that's where the problem begins" Endar replies with a wry grin .

"Professor killbot taught my siblings and i a lot" 13 replies

"But he , and this sounds just soooo cliche , he didn't teach you what love is?" Endar asks before breaking out into laughter , only to be bonked over the head by Tammy.

"I only heard him mention the word once when he was talking about the M6000 Obliterator sniper rifle" 13 explained

"Ok..you're in need of some reeducation"Endar replies with a shake of his head.

"Or maybe just more education" 13 pointed out, the proffessor had taught him real world skills like leading targets and knife fighting

Amok meanwhile had tugged himself in on a bunk and sleeping soundly, he had left his equipment on the table nearby.

"Oh I'm sure he taught you some useful skills , but you don't know what love ,or a kiss is " He replies , shaking his head as he snickers "God this is like something out of a really dark Disney movie"

"Is it tactical efficiancy?" 13 guessed what love was

Tammy just leaves. "No , no no no , love is like a very strong form of affection , like what made you want to knock me out was friendly affection , imagine that by like ten"

"So it is like a best friend then? family?" 13 wondered

"Yes something like that" He replies with a nod.

13 nodded and asked "Any place I can get some target practice in on this ship?"

"Affirmative little dude , there's one on the bottom level" He replies as the nano machines finally finish up mending and healing the bone with a sharp hiss. "Not gonna have much time though , I got a stop nearby  , and believe me you're gonna want to see it ...now , where is my captain hat? I remember I had it on the dresser but" And with that he's off.

In that case 13 would mereditate, levitating himself with blue energy to practice with his powers

Tammy reappears after the captain is gone and leans against the wall , moving some of their black hair from their eyes "I'm sorry...about what happened earlier"

"It's alright, I supose I have had worse from people I knew better" 13 said to tammy

They nod "I uh..I get a little over protective , from time to time over the captain" They explain sheepishly.

"I see that" 13 said, fairly stoic while meditating

Tammy just nods and stops bothering him for now.

A little while later

"All right folks first stop is here , anyone who wants to get off can!" Endar declares as The Babylon coasts down through towards the planet ahead , a massive glowing machine of a planet. A Holostation as it were , man-made (so to speak) planet that is used to dispense Holo-net access across the sector , and also a heavily populated inhabited trade center.From this far away it simply looks like any other planet , big blue and covered in shining lights , yet as they quickly cut down through the atmosphere it becomes clear the surface is entirely azure metal.

Amok had a nice sleep, he looks out the window of the metallic planet. Guess they should stock up with the goodies that can be bought from there, it wasn't that far from his species colony members were actually shopping in there. They don't need to care about them right now though, since they were busy with their own work.
