Bronze age of the gods

Quetzal nods and turns to Esmerelda and quickly echoes the same warning. She nods , though she still doesn't look concerned , the man then speaks to the lizard who turns back to Sephir and asks "Know anywhere like that?"

"No I've never been so far away from my home" He admitted "But there are often caves in the side of the cliffs, also it is a pleasure to meet you all, please pass along the message" he added politely he had a very noble demeanor about him, but not of the forceful warlord sor, of the charming and cunning sort.

Esmerelda picks up on this and turns to Quetzal posing a question for him to ask , Quetzal nods and turns to Sephir with intrigue in his eyes "You seem of noble birth , what is someone of your sort doing out here?"

"My father was unable to hold onto his kingdom i'm afraid, and now I am in exile" He replied calmly to them "And a maniac is running his kingdom likely conducting expiraments on our civilians as we speak."

The lizard man chuckles " A similar background to my client , what a coincidence"

"Oh what fun." He said and added cassually "You should get moving it will be dark soon"

The lizard nods and turns to Esmerelda who converses a bit with him before he turns back one last time "Hey , a skilled mage would be of great use to us , and we will be leaving these lands soon , would you be willing to come along? We'll pay you handsomely"

"So long as we aren't headed back north i'd be glad to" The magi said still seated

Quetzal nods "We will be headed to the south soon , in search of mercenaries of my people" He replies .

"Very well then at your service" He stood and took a curteous bow to the queen

Esmerelda grins and puts out a hand to his , exposing a toned and strong arm.

He looks at the arm honestly he had seen as many muscular magi as he had lizard men and it was something he found quite intriuging especially that it was possesed by a woman which he did not think posible. Still he shook the hand with his own slender arm

Her grip is firm , probably firmer than any he's ever felt , to the point of hurting quite a bit .

He winced a bit but shook her hand properly anyway

She smiles as she lets his hand go , through her eyes remain sharp and still a bit dis-trusting , after all she does not know him , yet any allies are appreciated.

"Ok so who is doing the leading here? we need to get moving" Sephir stated bluntly

The Beginning of the Wraithmen tribes have had two rules...Laws and Strength rule, those that could rule were always best known for their harsh controlling laws, and those that could recite their sacred, tribal, and mundane agreements where prized even more then the rulers for their word was more then law it was more then sacred...It was divine, though most Wraithmen stuck with the swamps never venturing from them they hunted and thrived making sure all intruders into their dominion would be hunted down and returned to eaten given the swamps a sort of place only know for death for those that enter

A strange looking creature comes onto the beach and it spots the group it starts to do this...Ritual?

Esmerelda raises a hand , she knows these lands to an extent , though not it's people. Quickly she gestures for him to hop onto her horse , knowing his kind isn't too fast.

He actually has a bit of trouble due to his heavy pack but eventually manages

Esmerelda nods 'Yah!' She cries as she snaps the reigns the horse beginning to gallop off down the trail quickly. Just then Taharqa cries out "A creature! " In their tongue , pointing at the wraithmen "It's near the boat! I've seen it's kind before I'll drive it off!' He exclaims and with that turns to run it off with his javelins.

It looks up seeing an unfriendly welcome starts to ready a strange looking club with what seems to be teeth at the ends of it

Taharqa draws out on of his javelins "Go! Get beast!" He yells gesturing for it to leave their ship.

It starts to step away though it does it small ritual that doesn't seem at all hostile again this time slower when it is away

The horse stands up on to legs neighing loudly as Taharqa continues yelling "Keep going mongrel!"

The creature plants it club into the dirt and does the ritual again trying to appear as least threatening as possible
