"Well that's about all I need to know Ramden " Eph murmurs , his eyes narrowing as he charges up a spell covertly just in case.

The hooded guy, Ramden, smirks and with that he suddenly throws his cloak at him and once the cloak falls a rather disgusting looking demon has stepped forth to kill Eph while Ramden prepared spell himself behind the disgusting demon. Ramden seemed to be average in height, long black hair and grey eyes wearing a rather dark mages robe with the golden necklace.

Eph incinerates the charging demon with another hellfire blast and fires a second at Ramden then hunts cover.

Ramden dodges the hellfire blast and shoots black lighting at him back.

The other customers and the bartender flee the scene while Arath continues drinking his beer.

Eph uses a table to black the lightning and turns the floor under Ramden's feet into fast drying cement.

Ramden gets stuck but makes thick ice to cover Eph's legs to make him stuck as well and starts to try breaking the already hardened cement.

Eph reduces the ice to a puddle with his fire and blasts ramden square in the chest.

Ramden uses his black lightning to deflect the spell back at him whole he still tried to to break the cement.

Drawing on a bit of Fri's power Eph teleports behind the man in a puff of smoke and blasts him in the back.

Ramden takes a full on hit to the back, it hurt and apparently Eph has won the fight. "Curse you!" Ramden said to him.

Fri walked into the scene cassually, even a taste of her energy left Eph feeling supercharged like he could take on the world, like he had just shot himself with a syringe of dragon adrenaline , meanwhile fri did not seem drained at all.

Eph let's out a small dark chuckle at the feeling and turns to his downed opponent "Wow , what an unpredictable and totally not cliché response" He replies as with another spell he forms a prison of crackling lightning around Ramden "Now...I should just kill you, but I figure you'll be more valuable as a source of information, so I ask this once and only once...who exactly are you?"

Ramden with his legs stuck on cement and a lightning prison around him he speaks. "I am Matteo Rivas, a dark magic mage as you probably already guessed..." Matteo told him.

"I assumed as much...know, you sent those men to accost me and steal my stuff...why? " Eph replies.

Matteo responded. "Stealing other peoples work is what I do, I sense you coming a long time ago and you visited the library. Enough time for me to set up some bandits to rob you." Matteo told him.

Eph nods slowly "I see , so you didn't know , well that's a relief , suppose I won't kill you then" He remarks as he looks the mage over , taking a sip of Matteo's unattended drink.

Matteo speaks. "Know about what? The thing you stole from the library?" Matteo said as he leaned a little down to inspect the hardened cement.

"Stole? More like reclaimed really " He replies with a smirk.

Matteo just let's out a chuckle. "Really now? Then what sort of thing you reclaimed from a library?" Matteo said as he projected a tool to start chipping away the concrete.

"Oh of course I'll tell you , after all we're such good friends what with you sending those bandits after me and all" He replies snarkily as the lightning cage closes in.

Matteo speaks. "Hey, hey, hey! You gain nothing from killing me!" Matteo told him as he stood up when the lightning cage closed in.

"But I get to devour your soul" Fri said with a grin

Matteo sighted at that, that was not a nice thing.

Arath stood up upon finishing his beer and spoke. "Ephraiem, let me kill him for you... So I can suck the life out of him." He suggested.

Eph just shrugs and lets the cage down "First come first serve " He states coldly and with that walks out of the bar, leaving the two to tear Matteo apart.
