Mischief Towards Tight Relations

Arath was now once again in this world, he was having a stroll looking how much the world has changed and came up to the Keyeko Village. It would be a shame if he did not have some fun while being here since Eph did not give him any restrictions or rules on how to behave. Arath infiltrated the village and for a few days now he made them see weird dreams of their neighbors stealing each others stuff and he even changed the place of the items causing everyone to blame each other and accuse of being criminals, relations where tight in the village as Arath had fun watching it using a disguise.

The situation would soon become tense as people as people bickering in the street soon drew their wizard's staffs, the situation may become violent.

Arath just watched, if the whole thing came to killing he would just snack on all the victors.

Before the fighting started a wanderer walked through the middle of town. A man in ashen gray robes with a pack slung over his shoulder and a staff in his hand. There was wariness among the townsfolk at the stranger's arrival; he gave off the vibe of a judgmental person, and then there was embarrassment among them that they were ready to battle their own neighbors like uncivilized brutes and act like savages before a visitor to their village, they all made amends with their neighbors promised to look for the goods and went inside. The demon was denied his feast.

Arath's smirk soon turned into a slight frown, it was so close too... He was disguised as a quiet man wearing black cloak to hide most of his features, Arath gave only a slight glare at the visitor whose near presence here was able to make them rethink their situation.

The man carried a simple wooden staff not jeweled or fancy, it was well worn but still hardy. "Was that your best attempt demon?" His voice was younger than might have been expected, though he was no child he was certainly no ancient wizard.

Arath is surprised that the stranger was able to see through him so quickly, it was interesting to say the least. "Hmph... It was enough for the village, until you came of course. Perhaps I should up my game then, but I doubt that anything will work anymore because you will surely go warn them of my presence and my... Tricks... Well kind sir, what do they call you?" Arath asked still in his disguise as they stood at the village center with the fountain and all...

"Giving a troublesome demon my name sounds like a fabulous idea" He said with dry sarcasm

Arath smirked a little at that. "Troublesome huh? You seem quite rude, didn't your mother teach you how to be polite? Maybe you would like to discuss odds and ends somewhere more private? I would easily go along that idea good sir..." Arath said wondering of his next response.

"No she didn't." He said cryptically his eyes could be seen to narrow batman style under the hood

And then Eph's voice appears in Arath's head "Hey umm....where did you go? I was just fretting groceries"

Arath let's out a small sigh, how should he handle this guy? "Talk about an uncivilized mother huh? Despite that, maybe you would like to hang out? You seem lonely, maybe you need someone to talk with? Traveling here from someplace else with no company must have been a little daunting..." Arath said, he was trying something to get the visitor to seem less of a thread. With Eph's voice he responds inside Eph's head. "I am just sightseeing and having a conversation with the locals, what else do you expect me to do here? I like people after all..." That was basically a half-truth.

"Yeah doubt it , wait...that voice , sounds familiar , Val?" Eph sighs loudly "Don't even try talking to him , he's like the most misanthropic person I've ever met"

"No I thought she was perfectly civilized for a corpse." Valstad said to him, he was an Orphan and such, and he added "No thanks" to the demon

"See what I mean ? I'm gonna talk to him real quick don't do anything Kay" With that an astral projection of Eph walks out of Arath's body and jogs over to Val "Sup?"

Arath responds to Eph in his head. "Right, if you say so..." Then as Eph's astral body walks out of Arath he observes the discussion.

"Your demon tried to trick the people of this town into killing eachother" Val said in clear disapproval "Have you seen Cerise?"

"Yeah he's a bit of a tunt , and no no I have not , nor have I attempted to search her out z she's probably just with her troupe...I suppose you asking answers the question I was going to ask , you remember too?" Eph replies with a raised brow.

"Of course I do" He said never having once doubted his own memory due to the current reality "I see you've taken up a crutch" That's what demon summoning and blood magic was in his eyes, at least in this case.

Arath speaks. "Summoner, that was uncalled for you..." He says disliking Eph's wording.

Eph just rolls his eyes "What dark magic? I mean if you want to call it that then I suppose so , It really interests me though " he replies , taking the insult in stride "How've you been lately?"

Arath doesn't feel like he is needed here and these two are no fun, he decides to walk away and find someone fun to be with for today from the village...

"Perhaps I misjudged it then" he said, if Eph was truly interested in it, it wasn't a crutch. "Worried." he admitted "I need to go now in case Cerise still has assassins after her"  he said

Eph nods " Call me up if anything serious happens alright?" And with that he floats off to make sure Arath doesn't cause any problems.

Arath was already flirting with some pretty lady on the street.
