On The Right Track?

Theo has been a Nagaraja at least for a month now, he hated every second of it but he had to manage. He has been trying to track down the one who turned him, but it has proven to be a difficult task. His latest investigations seem to lead him to this forest, but where there specifically he does not know or if he is even looking in the right place. Despite that he went to check on things, if he can put an end to this monster then he can rest easy. Theo was walking around trying to find anymore clues here...

Finn meanwhile had left his cabin in the middle of the night to look for potion ingredients, every good mage needs a stock of magic potions and his was running a bit low which would not do.

Theo did not see anything out of the ordinary in this forest, but then he noticed Finn walking around. Perhaps this was the clue he was looking for? Theo started sneaking to get behind Finn for a surprise attack to detain him, so he can later interrogate the guy.

Finn heard something rustling behind him and reached for something in his coat

Theo took his position, then when the opportunity seemed ripe Theo rushed out from the bushes at Finn to grab him from behind.

When he hear the nagaraja pounce from behind him finn spun around swinging a wooden rod about the length of a gladius at him, it was enchanted to zap and stun but theo had no way of knowing that.

Since Theo was already charging full on at Finn, despite he seemed to have noticed his presence Theo still thought he could pull this off. But as the rod hit him it indeed zapped him and Theo fell on the ground stunned for awhile because of it.

Finn cast his binding spell which made cords of silver magic appear to hold the Nagaraja in place.

Theo got put down and as he caught on what was happening he started to struggle obviously, but it seemed be of no use as Theo grunted in frustration.

"Why did you attack me?" finn knelt down and asked the restrained nagaraja

Theo looked at him, he then answered. "Well, a normal person does not strut in the woods during the night. You are suspicious and detaining you and interrogating you was my plan of action, it failed as you can see..." Theo said honestly, he was also slightly embarrassed.

"I beg to differ, plenty of people go out to the woods at night, teens looking to get high and campers for instance" Fin crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow

Theo sighted, he then spoke. "Well... Yeah I guess you are right... But I think I have found still found a clue to my search, you are not a normal human..." Theo pointed out as he was bound by magic right now.

"I'm a wizard out gathering potion ingredients" finn said to the Nagaraja "What do you mean by a clue?"

Theo spoke more. "I am... Looking for someone specific, my investigations led me to this part of the forest. You are in said forest, you are not a human... So you see what I am getting here?" Theo wondered, but he had to be careful in his wording since he did not know which supernaturals might blow the same whistle.

"There are dozens of non humans in this forest... what are you investigating?" finn asked him

Theo spoke more. "I am looking for a certain Nagaraja, you wouldn't happen to know any...?" He asked of him, Theo tried to be so smooth considering the situation he was in.

"You're the first i've ever met" Finn said to him "You're not exactly a common sight"

Theo spoke more, hastily. "But... But... My investigations led me here! There has to be another Nagaraja here! Are you lying to me!?" Theo asked and started struggling again.

"Why would i lie to you?" Fin asked and pointed out "You're bound and helpless on the ground. You're not intimidating, and if you were my enemy i'd kill you with ease"

(I don't know what you think you achieved by pointing that out.)

Theo let out a long sigh as he calmed down again, apparently he has been on the wrong tracks all along. "Uh... If you say so... Guess I have been following the wrong lead, I have to start over then..." Theo said since apparently this mage knew nothing, he wonders where on earth has that Nagaraja bitch run off to.

Finn dispelled the magical cords and asked "You're not exactly a modern day Sherlock Holmes are you ?"

As the magical cords vanished, Theo slowly stood up from the ground and dusted himself. "Apparently not... But I still need to keep looking, thanks for your help I guess... I will go now to continue my investigations... And hopefully get better results." Theo said as he was done dusting himself, he had to change the way he approached this search.

"Well bye then" Finn waved "Good luck, let me know if i can help"

Theo went on to get back to his current hiding place, this tracking business was harder than he had expected. He seemed to have the wrong lead and the Nagaraja was not here obviously... Theo felt a bit sad about it, this would take longer than he had expected.
