Chase the Defective One!

It has come to the attention of the hunters organization that one of their hunters has defected, instead of doing their job as a hunter they have been aiding the supernatural menaces. Matthew, a very young but accomplished hunter has been send the information of this case and the instructions for detaining the defector. He is to handle this matter quickly before more harm is done.

Matthew was of course on the case, the first thing he checked was he home but he doubted he'd find anything there unless she didn't know they were after her

Keely had been aware of this. Her home was a tiny little shack near the outskirts of a dump pile. From all the shit people threw away, she had been able to collect and build quite a few cool objects. Notes had been hastily ripped off of the wall, although some yellow sticky notes had been abandoned. Any writing was in some unusual, unrecognisable scrawl, that was clearly not written in any language spoken by men. Some sort of code, or cipher presumably. Her computers and such had been locked beneath a hidden door beneath a rug in one of the rooms, and had three different padlocks heavy and a four digit pin needed in order to access it. There was a bomb hidden beneath the welcome mat at the front door on the inside, which only the most observant eyes would spot, and would blow the entire place to smithereens should someone step on it. Clearly this girl meant business.

Matt was used to looking for bombs and remembered keely was quit paranoid so he made his way around the bomb. Eventually matt found the door because under the rugs is always the first place you look, he looked at the note she left behind wondering if it was the code, if not it was time to break out the thermite

It's also like bomb proof or something. And she isn't stupid enough to leave the key lying around, even if it is a code.

(thermite isn't a bomb, it's a chemical mixture that can burn through the most secure safes)

mat saw the glint of an optical device out the window, he suspected keely was watching from afar so he waved

Keely swiftly ran off. 
There was a clue as to where she'd go hidden deep on one of the laptops if Matt digs deep enough. A series of safe houses she had connection to, although it doesn't mention which one. Presumably the closest.

After using thermite to bust through the door, spending hours searching for the data and being distracted once by minesweeper matthew found her safe house locations and headed to the closest one.

(I take it if they fight she will kick matt's ass?)

(Not necessarily, it depends how he does it. She has very little strength by the way, in case you can use that.)

It wasn't so much a house as termites holding hands. Keely hated it but some things you just gotta do to survive. She had watched that man, and from the extents her went through proves that he is determined to find her. And that means she will not be able to stay here very long. He will find out the location of her safe houses, although thankfully none of the rest of them gave anymore information about her. They were all run down, bordered up, dilapidated and tucked away out of site. No one will want to go near them, save for stupid teens daring each other to break in. There was a cafe close to this one. It wasn't a very nice one, but she would remain there until the man came. She had taken money out of the tips jar on the counter in order to pay for a small bottle of water while she sat and watched. She wore a long coat, the hood pulled up over her head.

Well super speeding all over the place really builds up the appetite so he  stopped at a cafe conveniently near his destination. Well as he walked in a suspicious looking woman in a hood and long coat drew his attention. "Hi keely you look very suspicious!" He said to her cheerfully and walked over smiling and waving

She visibly stiffened at the sound of her name. She hadn't heard it in so long. Hell, she hadn't heard a voice in so long. She couldn't remember the last time she had held a conversation. But now wasn't the time for pleasantries. He must be the one who is following her. "What do you want?" Her voice was low, rough, clearly not used in god knows how long.

Matt casually walked over and had a seat across from her "You thought the hunters would let you go? By the way i'm starving how's the food here?" He asked her keeping his own intentions vague

She didn't answer. She just stared at him with hard eyes for a few seconds, before she got up and went to walk away. She didn't expect it to be that easy, but hey she had a few tricks up her sleeve.

"You need my help you know, if I found you so can they" Matthew casually pointed out as she started to stand

"You say that like you are not with them," She replied, pausing briefly as she passed him. He was a hunter, no? Come to deal with her? Why would he help? A trap. Run.

"let's talk somewhere less public" he said motioning for her to calm down, he isn't going to discus what he is and his plan in such a public place

Thanks but no thanks. "No..." She murmured softly, and opened her mouth as if to say something else, but continued on her way out the door.

Matthew followed her "I'm not letting you throw your life away when we're on the same side"

She didn't like this. It was putting too much pressure on her, especially since she hadn't had any social contact in so long. She preferred it that way. Perhaps if she ignored him he'll go away.

Matthew did not go away he was hoping there would be a private place coming up

Keely walked straight past any potential private places. She was certainly not going in any with this dude. She quickened her pace when he didn't go away.

"Will you just chill out an listen to me, keely I'm trying to help you, but if you keep ignoring me i'll have to kill you to maintain my cover" Matthew warned keely

Hence was her time to run.

Mat matched her super speed and easily kept up with his fitness being superior prior to this, she was a sniper, snipers were trained to wait and watch, his sort fought an waded into the gore of battle so stamina was emphasized in training.
