Welcome to the undercity

The undercity, a nest of vampires living in a number of abandoned sewer tunnels, they are safe from the humans above as the magic of the elders hides them, but is it worth it. Tiny shacks and shelters fill various tunnels along with the deformed and insane; fires burn in metal cans providing light and a place to cook. The heart of the city is relatively safe, like most of the city no sewage runs through it; it has markets and little restaurants that serve food (mostly rodent meat and snacks from gas stations) in their makeshift buildings and stands. The most violent and crazy live on the outskirts, where sewage does flow, those who are right in the head simply don't go there everyone out there is feral or not far from it.

Seth a fledgling vampire hides in these tunnels, sitting alone in some corner of a shack uncomfortable at the moment as he was getting hungry. He would rather avoid contact with other vampires, some of them were pretty scary... But at some point he had to start moving once his lust for blood started to peak so he could no longer stand it.

Seth hears some nearby steps.

Seth tries to avoid contact with other vampires, but as he hears footsteps he just assumes that it is just a vampire passing by close by.

Instead a body goes flying past his shack and hits the ground hard , soon enough another vampire walks over and picks the vampire up by the ankle before slamming on his head again and again until the vampire is dead.

The sound of something flying past and thumping on the ground wakes up Seth's curiosity, he takes a peek from his shack and sees everything. He backs off back to the corner of his shack whimpering but also slightly grunting as he was hungry for blood but too afraid to go out now.

Slowly the victorious vampire lifts the beaten victim up and disembowels him with a clawed finger.

Seth drags himself to take another peek, he wanted to get on the surface soon to get human blood but he looked if the possible thread would be gone.

Not far away Edward was living it up for a vampire of his age. He was in his own little shelter, it was a wood structure built into a little indent in the wall and around the  size of a small bedroom. He had a couch, a couple cots on the floor, a cooler to store food, and wind a up radio sitting on a cardboard box that mostly worked, with a door that was a sheet of metal he slid into place and secured with a chain each night.

Victor walks past him , completely ignoring the smaller vampire as he flicks some blood off of his finger.

Seth can't wait any longer, he needs blood, now. So he dashes from his hideout and as he does so he trips and falls down, hurting himself lightly.

Victor's eyes widen as Seth darts out "Watch where you're going " He says in lightly accented English.

Seth just quickly looks at Victor as he was down on his knees and then he quickly gets up and sprints away as he is frightened and he wants to get outside.

"Are you alright kid?" Edward asked as the kid who looked starved tripped and fell through the doorway into his home

Victor jogs over briskly "He's obviously blood starved"

Seth let out a slight eep as Edward spoke to him, he was ever so frightened.

"He's also apparently a complete pussy" Victor states with a chuckle.

Edward nodded in agreement with him "The kid needs a rat, probably a human in a few days"

Vic nods "I'm sure he'll find something to feed on" He states as he scoots past Ed and plops down on a cot.

Seth did not like this conversation, as much as he was able to focus on hearing. He did not like the mention of a rat. "Rat...? Rat...? No, I need to get out!" Seth declared and he would run away but between Victor and Edward there was no place to run.

"Calm down kid if you run up top all hysterical the hunters will have you in minutes. I have some rat blood, it won't last you as long as human blood, but it will help" Edward opened his ice filled cooler and took out a blood bag which he offered to the kid

Seth was unsure of what Edward was talking about, but as he got offered a blood bag the red liquid inside it caught Seth's utmost attention and he took it and started drinking from it until it was empty so he calmed down a little.

Victor nods "You okay now? Gonna stop skittering around like a rodent?"

Seth now a bit more calm though the blood was not really that good obviously but it helped, he looked at Victor and spoke. "I... I'm sorry... I guess I should go... So i won't bother you anymore..." Seth said as he was preparing to leave, before these vampires might decide to go all violent on him or worse.

"Yeah you do that" Victor replies with a nod.
