Matt Under Attack

While Matthew was walking home he didn't notice he was being watched. Apparently Sylvia's spell had worn off and humans could now see his wings and he had 3 beings following him - hunters. The strongest and swiftest of them waited until he was in an alleyway before pouncing down on him from above and pinning him to the ground so he couldn't fly away. They had a rope on them and were about to tie his wings together.

Matthew did not at all see the attack coming, he did not know enchantments could wear off, nor did he notice the hunters following him til it was too late. However on instinct As he was pinned Matthew bit down on the nose of the person who was trying to hold him down, he did not even know they were hunters or what this was about

The hunter didn't let go and took the bite like a champ. He then kicked Matthew in the jaw to knock him out.

The other two hunters were alerted of his catch and made their way to their base at Raining River to get the interrogation room ready.

Matthew spitt out half of the man's nosem he had bitten clean off when he was knocked out

(How could that happen? XD)

The male hunter growled furious at the angel's actions but then picked Matthew up and carried him towards the base while Matthew hung limp over his shoulder.

Not long afterwards, Matthew would wake up inside a cage inside a dark room that had been magically reinforced so he couldn't teleport out of it.

(Cue someone had noticed the capture or put like some way Matt can alert them of his capture)

MAtthew just frowned as he came to in the cage, he tried to teleport away but couldn't and his helplessness was all too clear

A man sat just outside the cage. "Glad to see you're finally awake, flying rat." he said coldly.

The two other hunters were female and had their swords out.

"well your hunters have quite a nose for this" He said joking bitterly, he was finished anyway, it didn't matter

The male hunter chuckled. "Now here's how this is gonna work, you answer my questions or we torture it out of you. Make it easy for you so you don't have to suffer for longer, for we will kill you once we get our answers, won't we?" he asked, turning towards the girls.

The female hunters both nodded.

"I got a question for you first... does teaming up and beating up teens make you feel like a big man?" matthew asked with a scowl

The man chuckled evilly. "You also suffer if you ask me a question." he said before a spike was blown into Matthew's thigh. "How many supernaturals are in the city?" he asked.

MAtthew gritted his teeth as the spike went through his thigh "So it's more of a sexual thing then?" he asked defiantly

Another spike was blown into Matthew's other thigh. "Answer the question before one of them pulls out feathers!" he shouted, narrowing his eyes.

The female hunters had their eyes narrowed too.

"You know it's a good thing i do so like assertive women" Matthew said winking flirtatiously at one of his female tormentors

The male got really angry and shot another spike into Matthew, this time in his arm.

The female hunters smiled evilly, not intimidated.

Thankfully for Matthew, Cassandra had seen a glimpse what was going on when he was taken by the hunters. She obviously left the scene in a hurry but she was going to get help for him.

"Matthew gritted his teeth more and asked the female hunter "Hey you want to get dinner after this, i here the food where i'm going's to die for.... get it , cuz i'm going to die and stuff" he said with a smile amiably a bit at his joke

The man walked over to him and ripped some feathers from the tip of Matthew's wing. "You should've cooperated." he said coldly.

The female hunters backed away, but he managed to get the one so smile and laugh once.

"You know torture really looses its touch when i'm not gonna live to see tomorrow. I've really got nothing to lose" Matthew said, breaking him would clearly take a very long time


(how long are they going to have him, while the others look or? couple days with a time skip?)

(I haven't yet decided, if he doesn't cooperate then they'd probably kill him and find somebody else that would actually be able to get answers out of from torture)

(hmm kinda want him to sort of befriend one of the guards or something)

Cassandra had told Acheron about this, which made Acheron run out from the inn in search of Matthew. He scouted the area where Matthew was kidnapped, he tried to sense Matthew's divine presence.

Of course since matthew wasn't anywhere near where he was caught, his presence could not be sensed in the area
