In the year 14534 most of the known galaxy found itself under the control of the Terran Federation an intergalactic highly expansionist empire dominated by humans, and human interest. Alien civilizations fall to the federation to be crushed and assimilated into their larger empire, some remain semi independent civilizations with a watchful eye, and taxation imposed, even allowed to integrate with human civilization , others are heavily subjugated, Federation security forces patrol the streets to make sure all stay in line as their planets are stripped for valuable resources,  the population falls under the” employ” of the federation, workers are over worked, and paid barely enough to get by, soon the entire planet is nothing but a slum.

Meanwhile on the the border of federation space, the black dragon super max prison ship experiences a critical systems error while orbiting a remote planet .  A power failure let's lose the ship's  cargo, the cargo being a few thousand of the galaxy's most wanted. From dangerous rebels, to opportunistic pirates, to rogue psionics , to cyber terrorists. They must work together to escape their captors.



Tech

The Federation has access to technology from a wide range of space fairing civilizations,  they've got warp drives, they've got cryo sleep, they've got cybernetics,  brain implants to improve psionic abilities,  energy weapons though ballistics are still more common in the military, and civilian use, power armor for the federations  most elite soldiers. Artificial intelligence,  the works.

Psions: Psion Is a term referring to a being, human or otherwise that posses some form of psychic powers. Amongst the human race a Psion’s ability can range widely from levitating a handgun, and transmitting information telepathically; To lifting armored light vehicle, hurling powerful bolts of ionized energy, and breaking the minds of an entire enemy squad. Psions can be a game changing asset on any front rather they focus on, telekinesis, energy manipulation, or telepathy, and although all have a stronger and a weaker point many know at least a bit of each. Federation psions are heavily monitored, collected,  and trained for government sponsored use, they are not treated badly, actually they are treated quite well, but those who avoid the gilded cage or escape are branded rogue and hunted down

Oevult

An alien species that are small in size (the size of a house cat), they resemble jellywish but they are completely ground dwelling creatures that move forward with their 4 tentacles that lead to their jellywish like body but it isn't transparent as it has multiple black eyes on the front. They are not strong fighters or anything, they are only capable of being a parasite on others and control them through that. This is how things work on their homeworld, they go to places and depend on the animals that live there so they breed different kinds of useful animals for their day to day tasks. Despite their parasitic actions they are intelligent to certain extend and are capable of speech, they view humans as an interesting species as humans have shown time and time again what they are capable of but the Oevult can't fight them since they have to depend on animals hosts to even stand a chance in a fight and when the host dies the Oevult are left mostly defenseless


The Cheer Wan: a race of pale hyper evolved humanoids who live almost entirely in gravity-less spaceships ,leaving them physically weak and dependant on their technology ,however they make up for it with their Zexal - suits ,exo suits that greatly increase their strength and speed allowing them to fight against and alongside humans

He is from a wealthy family of Terran politicians,  the human elite practically nobility, augmented genetically,  and cybernetically to be perfect, or at least as close as a human can be, while stationed with peace keeping forces on a poor Cheer wan industrial planet,  he secretly hacked into his commanders terminal and diverted a portion of their food shipments to cheer wan homeless shelters, one thing led to another and when the smoke cleared he had killed several officers, blown up several assault drones, and been arrested

Background: Not being happy with how easily the humans overpowered them and put their species to work for them instead of the other way around as the Oevult are used to. Decided to take matters to his own hands or... Well... Tentacles! To try and switch the roles between them. Sneaking into a large cargo ship he took control of their captain and so take control of the entire cargo ship posing as their captain and slowly but surely locking the crew members into one room until someone figured out what was going on and shortly got caught as he tried to escape with a smaller vehicle with the captain, then he got removed from the captain and put into prison.
Skills: Jumping, walking on walls and ceiling, learning to operate technology quickly, spying.

The Oevult sound a bit adorable

Adorable? I guess you could say that, they are small and have plenty of cute small black eyes on their front.

Appearance: She has olive skin and her cropped hair is dyed a rainbow of different colours, from hot pinks to neutral greens to cool blues, with a bit of grey among other colours thrown in there, and the left side is shaved. Her emerald eyes are forever lined with smokey eyeliner the colour of charcoal. Piercings line right along her left ear, while her right only has a few relatively normal placed piercings. She has her tongue, belly button and eyebrow pierced also, as well as a septum piercing. A wide range of tattoos garnish her rather toned body, including a miasma of cliche skulls and roses, as well as some more creative tats of the eye of Horus and a few more mythological themed ones. She has an eyepiece covering her left eye, the orange lense allowing her to zoom in the vision of her eye as well as letting her see through certain materials. She also has a prosthetic leg and hand, both of which contain some hidden gems, such as a built in knife, stun gun, little tiny but powerful bomb (a small black ball no wider than a fingernail), normal gun and tranquiliser darts in her metal hand, and a stash of various drugs and alcohol in her metal leg.
Crimes: She was arrest and imprisoned for blowing up a dwarf planet, thus causing an entire race to go extinct, because one of the little bastards murdered her girlfriend. She is also charged with various counts of murder before that incident, as well as thief, hacking and endangering lives because she purposefully screwed up while repairing vehicles.
Background: She worked as an engineer for a large company for years, and did some freelance assassinations in her spare time. A fire set at her family home killed both her parents and younger brother, though Genii herself was rescued by a woman who would eventually become her girlfriend. However, she wasn't quick enough as Genii lost her left leg and right hand in the fire, and gained burn scars in many other places in her body. Her left eye was also badly damaged, but they repaired whatever they could with optic cybernetics. Her girlfriend had gambling debts with an important citizen on a dwarf planet, who then killed her when she couldn't repay the funds. Enraged, Genii blew up the entire planet, which was when she was caught and detained.
Skills: Cybernetics stored in her eyes piece are wired to her brain to allow her to access all data stored there as well as connect to the Internet. Her cybernetics can pick up if someone is lying, and an orange light flashes on her eye piece when someone does do.  Her prosthetics are strong and study, much more so than the rest of her skin but it puts her at an advantage compared to those who haven't lost limbs. She has a degree in mechanics, and can fix almost anything with the right tools, and is reasonably good at hacking but it's not on any wow level. She is also good at hand to hand combat and is an excellent sniper.
Weaknesses: Her prosthetics have a waterproof coating to allow them to cope in rain, but submerging them in water for long periods of time will cause them to malfunction. As it is connected to her brain, this can screw her up.

How do we start?

Transfer day aboard the black dragon prison ship, the day once a month when new prisoners, deemed risky enough to be held on the vessel instead of traditional prisons are brought in aboard cargo ship accesorized with heavy chains that won't be removed until they are safely locked in one of the energy cells they'd spend the rest of their life in, Among the more interesting arrivals,  are an extremely handsome man, with short Brown hair, and deep blue eyes, tall, light skinned, Well muscled,  but not too well muscled, appealing to the point that he was clearly one of those genetically modified elites of the core worlds. He was quiet and nervous as he was escorted through the hall.

Their was also another fair skinned young human this one short and lean with black hair, he looked about fourteen,  he was yelling something angry about, smash the system, and Psion rights

A male Oevult light blue in color and with its black shiny eyes was walking among the other prisoners at a steady phase with its tentacles, it tried to look as tall as possible as it moved forward. It was hard for anyone to read their emotions but if anyone could they would see that this Oevult was quite bored and also disappointed.

In front of those tee is a man of average height , slicked back brown hair and brown skin ,green eyes flinging as he grins .

There is also a tall seemingly human female , with pale hair and yellow eyes.

One of the most colourful of the prisoners walked amongst them, remaining silent and bore a look of deep yet controlled rage and slight sadness, but not because of her current predicament. She absently looked through everyone's clothing with her prosthetic eye piece to see how well armed they all were, while she downloaded all the information she could find about the prison they were being detained in.
