Appearance: Sickly yellow skin, wiry six foot tall build, predatory green eyes, shoulder length black hair, and a face a bit too elongated to look normal.
Background: The one who would become known Jarrick the cannibal and Jarrick the Tempest, was born to a small tribe in the vast lands of the forbidden marshes. He was the child of the Village elder; a man who had reached an unheard of age in the marshes, 46. Jarrick began training as a hunter at the age of eight, but showed magical potential at age thirteen and was taken to be trained in the primal magic of his tribe. Unlike the witches who trained in curses and subtle magics through grimoires, male Forlorn with the gift of magic were trained in elemental magic with instinct and practice, in his case wind magic.
Jarrick never finished his training, as his tribe lost a war with another. The survivors, including him, were taken to be sold to a great foriegn kingdom outside the marshes. It was in that kingdom that Jannick would be forged into a gladiator; a slave warrior fighting for the entertainment of the masses. Truth be told Jarrick loved every moment of it. Though many would ridicule his origin; in the arena he was a champion; words did not matter there only skill at arms, and after every battle he was hailed as a hero. All good things must end however, and Jarrick was eventually put on the roster for a match, he could not win. He escaped in transit rather than be slaughtered for the masses and signed on with some adventuring company.
