Background: Born the scion of a powerful house on the jungle world of Silence, Osiris was in direct succession to the governorship of the world and was being trained to ascend to this station when his psychic powers were found out. Due to his family's clout in the imperium and his psychic potential it was decided he was to become an astropath. Surviving the incredibly painful Soul Binding process with only the relatively benign side effect of legal blindness (creating the cloudy pale pink shade that his eyes have today) he went on to go join an astropathic choir. Yet the sharp minded quick witted former noble found the doldrums of astropath life dull and though he hid it well began to grow discontent with the boredom of his every day routine.He had no idea of the sinister way this wish would be granted. Whilst on the way to their new post at Port Wander his choir's ship was attacked by an elven corsair vessel, their farseer's psychic attack immediately killing every other astropath on the ship before their warriors came aboard and slaughtered the ships guard. Osiris however did not die, the attack did hurt him, putting him into a deep restless slumber as the eldar came aboard and slaughtered everyone else on the ship. He does not like to speak of how he survived after waking up, even after the ritual of soul binding the pain that comes from it haunts him every night. However in the end survive he did, the battered wreck of his choir's ship floating to an inquisition training world where upon hearing and confirming his story they inducted him into their ranks as an agent, seeing a spirit as tenacious as his much too valuable to let go. Now he serves the Ordo Xenos and finds the adventure he wanted as the lead investigator on the cases given to him by his inquisitor.
