Katsuo snorts "Slightly?" He replies as he points to the open door .

"Well I'm right here, i've even got my eye on the tentai over there..." he points to Toshiro who awkwardly waves

He sighs "What are we gonna do with you " He muses with a shake of his head as he looks over Toshi "A tentai huh...wearing rags...you're coming with me"

"I mean I wouldn't say rags but... yeah we were looking for a way inside anyway for... some reason..." he looked at take questioningly for why they were here

"I wanted food , and they have really good fish around here" Take admits .

"If I get out of this i'm kicking your ass" Toshiro said as he followed the ninja

Take raises a brow "Oh try" He replies as he lights up his pipe.

*Grumble grumble grumble* he follows the ninja "So who is your leader, some gruff fallen samurai dude with an awesome beard?" he gueses randomly since nothing else seems to be happening

"It's not an awesome beard, and he's not all that gruff , but otherwise you've just about got it" Katsuo replies with a smirk "I am Katsuo Moritomi , it's...ok to meet you" He says gruffly , awfully surprising in a society where politeness is held in great esteem .

Not all that surprising after traveling with Take actually, and toshiro simply replied "Likewise"

"This is our almighty fearsome leader , Hatsunabi Horibe " Katsuo gestures lazily to a man in a black kimono standing in a small pond picking flowers "Very fearsome I know"

"Hatsunabi?" He asked in surprise, that name sounded awfully familiar, but it wasn't quite coming to him where from

"Yep...Lord Hatsunabi...we've got visitors , one of them's a tentai, probably the assassin everyone's talking about" Katsuo concludes bluntly as he waves for the rebel daimyo's attention . "Katsuo...I am busy cutting flowers...come back later"

"Ok I did not kill any... well I killed some people, but I did not kill the empress's sister" Toshiro objected to being called an assassin

"
"Hey you know what assassin's do tentai...they kill some people" The shinobi replies with a smug smirk.

"Yes but they get paid to do it... do I look like I got paid recently?" Toshiro asked

"I don't get paid" He replies with a cold smirk as he gestures for them to follow him , jet black light armor shining in the sunlight "Follow me , I'll try to get the two of you set up for the day , as an apology for Miyamoto being a jackass " He explains as he leads them through the surprisingly large and organized compound. As they pass through the streets warriors and samurai can be seen training in swordsmanship, reiki control , archery , horseback riding , and other more mental tasks like calligraphy , meditation , and shogi. In fact there is even a sizable citizen population who in fact aren't being treated like dirt , simply going about their days , selling their wares , crafting their items , farming rice and sorghum and grain. A very self sufficient rebellion this seems .

"I'm impressed you managed to establish such an impressive base of opporations." Toshiro said as they walked "And don't worry, mine started it anyway"

Take grumbles some mild insults as he  straightens the collar of his blue kimono a little ,feeling a bit out of place. Suddenly he feels the bugging need to take a bath and perhaps even comb his hair , it puts him on edge.

Katsuo smirks as he walks quickly , and even though he's a good bit shorter than both of his wards it's obvious he's holding his stride back a bit so they can catch up. If one were to look over him they'd see quite a strange sight , he seems like he's caught between two worlds , on his head holding back a mop of long bangs is a shinobi's forehead protector , yet the armor he wears bears the symbol of a clan of samurai , the Moritomi . "We'll get both of you some new clothes too so ya don't look like shit in our leader's court" He teases as he leads them towards a cozy looking inn bathhouse fusion , pleasant little red paper lanterns hanging from the edge of the roof. "A warning though tentai , we've got no silk left over , the onna-bugeisha like to use it to embellish their armor ,so you're soft hide'll have to make due" He states in a tone that could perhaps imply flirtation.

"My hide will be fine" Toshiro replies, he really wasn't a fan of every guy he met hitting on him and frowned a bit

"Well maybe you should stop taking twenty minute baths" Take grumbles , still very much annoyed at having had to wait for Toshi while they were on the move.

"Well what am I supposed to do take a ten minute bath?" Toshiro asked

"Yes , because maybe then people would stop confusing you for a princess" He replies bluntly , Katsuo just chuckling in the background as he buys them their rooms  .

"Being clean does not make me look like a princess" The tenai said

Katsuo interjects " I would suggest you look in a mirror , friend tentai" He quips with a smirk as he points to one hanging on a wall , the old woman who runs the inn just ignoring them entirely.
